Lots of information on various wars and the army men who laid there lives while fighting for our country. Also got to know how difficult it is to lead a army life. Saw lots of equipment used in Glaciers. Also lots of arms and captured and used during the war. Definitely worth visiting

The place is located on outskirts of Leh on Leh Srinagar highway. It has a war museum depicting India’s war history right from pre independence years. You will get overwhelmed on reading how our army has fought all indo Pakistan and indo - China wars and will feel bad that had the army been taken seriously and backed by then politicians in time today Aksai China would have been a part of India. The museum has all artefacts to showcase the conditions in Siachen and how our soldiers stay out over there. Various artillery and guns etc are displayed outside the museum. Next to the museum is an open ground with multiple adventure activities for the kids including zip lining. To top it all Army Jawan guides the children doing all the activities and it’s free of cost . The museum has a nominal entry ticket.
The cafe adjoins hall of fame serves nice pastries / wafers/ shakes and pizzas
