Pleasant location, peaceful, good rooms, tasty foods and polite behaviour of the staffs. Lift available for upstairs. I stayed with my family for three nights in a twin DBR interconnected. Highly recommended.

Reenam hotel our base during this wonderful stay in Leh... the hotel has a beautiful organic garden and fresh vegatables from the garden is served..wonderful.. The hotel is comfortably located about 10 mins walk from main market. It is recommended that while going to market one can walk easily as it is downhill but while coming back better to take a cab(charges 150) as uphill walking is a bit difficult... Service is good and most helpful owner.

Room tip: ground floor rooms have garden just outside

Stayed at Reenam for 5 nights during our 7 day visit to Leh. The hotel is a charming one close to Leh market and Sankar Monastery. The owner is gem of a person and helped us with our stay in Nubra and Durbuk, taxi was also arranged by him and made us deal directly with driver passing all discount that driver gave to us.
Rooms are south facing and offer splendid view of the mountains.
Highly Recommended.

Room tip: 2nd floor rooms offer good view

It’s the perfect place to stay in leh. Close to the centre, on a Hill.
We had a room for 4 people, clean, hot water, with confortable bed and great view on the mountains.
The staff and manager are really nice and very flexible.
The wifi is on mostly on the evening and not optimal but works reasonnably.
The only negative point could be the breakfast, not really prepared on time, but the staff makes it up to you.

8 of us all between 42 to 47 checked in on August 11th for 2 nights & again on August 14th for a night. It was the worst experience we ever had staying in a hotel. THE WORST. Why did we not check out & why did we come back? Because everything was fully paid for in advance, basis the rosy picture presented to us by online travel portals. Trust us, this place is not worth a penny.

There were only 6 rooms occupied when we checked-in...i.e. Only 12 people were staying at the property. All claims i have tried to substantiate with pictures.

Kitchen & room service:
the service was painstakingly slow. We only had breakfast as it was included in the package. It was a-la-carte & not the buffet that they claim to serve. When we ordered toast & omlette with tea, they serve the toast first. By the time the omlette is served, the toast is either hard or soggy depending on whether you applied butter or not while waiting for the omlette. Tea is stale & preheated and never made fresh 7 times out of 10 - you can taste the bitterness which comes when "already-previously-made" tea is reheated to be served. We always asked for tea without sugar, but 5 times out of 10 they don't pay heed and serve the same stale, reheated & sweet tea, which is returned and we again stress on tea without sugar.

The thermos tea-pot they use to bring tea in room service - the pout is broken & not just dirty, it's filthy. Even their waiter spills tea when trying to pour into a cup from another side. They just don't replace this thermos.

Rooms & amenities:
Never get fooled going for the suite room thinking you will get something better. The normal rooms atleast have balconies the door to which can open to let in fresh air. The suite has absolutely no ventilation in the bedroom, and only a very small window which can open in the sitting area, making the experience very unpleasant. The small in room kettle is absolutely filthy. The pout is dirty & rancid and they just do not replace it. The tea bags & powdered milk sachets are missing & never come. Only an array of white sugar pouches are kept...so much for taking up a suite.

None of the bathrooms have an exhaust or a shower enclosure or a shower curtain so when you bathe, the whole bathroom is wet for the other person sharing the room, to bathe in - we asked for bathroom wipers, but they had only one - which we shared, as & when possible between our 4 rooms.

The TV was not working in any of the rooms. No amount of complaints resolved the issue. We had to watch the August 15th flag hosting on one of our mobiles, with buffering on 4G.  Wifi as touted to be available, is only available in the reception area and no where else.

Although, Mr. Mukesh the Manager tried his level best in making our stay comfortable with his limited resources. About other staff, there is only one cook some cleaning girls who make up the room and only one bell boy cum waiter cum room service person who is on his toes 24x7 so is bound to falter at times when he's the only person handling everything. The owners of the hotel need to spruce up their game other wise just shut shop & do something else.

It was overall still a pathetic experience and we swear we shall never go back to Hotel Reenam.

Also would request websites to please do some actual groundwork before rating a hotel - because we travellers, based in different cities, rely on your ratings to judge which place to stay at, and when we have an experience as bad as we had in Hotel Reenam in Leh, it leaves a 'bitter' taste in the mouth, making us wonder whom to next rely on for hotel ratings & bookings.

Room tip: Don't ever choose the Suite rooms, they have absolutely no ventilation, barring a small window.
