I found this place not interesting at all. The palace looks good from outside but there's nothing at all inside. Not worth a visit and also u had to pay for ticket though cheap. Though there's nice view from the top but same can be seen from Shanti Stupa which i liked more.

This is very old palace. Palace is very well maintained. There is excellent view of Leh on the top of palace.

It is totally in a depleted condition and nothing much to see. As you are in leh and this is one of the points to see you might as well see it but over all there is nothing much to see

We seven couples visited Leh Palace last year. It is very close to the hotel where we stayed. Hotel Classic Ladakh. It  is a former royal palace overlooking Leh city. People say that it resembles the Potala Palace inLhasa, Tibet. It is nine storeys high; the upper floors accommodated the royal family, while the lower floors held stables and store rooms.

Not a great deal of monumental architecture and as such the Royal palace dominates the Leh city and skyline with Ladakh mountain range as dramatic backdrop
