We had accommodation during a training near Abids and rooms have all facilities as specified. Its a decent hotel to accommodate for 2 to 3 days. Its a budget hotel which has all basic amenities needed for comfortable stay. Overall i liked the location which is near to most of the places.

The hotel is well place at the central location at the main junction where no one can miss it. There are also other hotels around this area some distance away. Friendly staff and good service. Rooms are cool, clean and cozy. Value for money. There are many good food restaurants are around here.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road has good views

Hotel is in the heart of chirag ali lane, which is good location, just infront of the hotel you can find a big mobile market.

Both side of the hotel you can find lots of restaurants, an ice cream parlor.

Try the irani chae from the tea center just left side end of the hotel lane (leaving the hotel gate)
Also try the Pan just after the tea shop (left side)

Autos are always available infront of the hotel, hire one and go to charminar, begal bazar, MPM mall, good biriyani restaurant like cafe bahar.

Hotel rooms are good but you will experience low light inside.
Stuffs are helpful.
Hot water available all time.
Free wifi available

Room Tip: all rooms are good

Firstly, when we booked this hotel through Hotels.Com, it was named as OYO Rooms Abids. At 1:00am after we landed, this was not at all helpful as we began to realize that most hotels all had "OYO Rooms" outside their hotel, and we later found out that "OYO Rooms" was synonymous to a hotel booking website. We only got to our hotel about 1.5 hours later, and checked in at 2:30am.

Reception boys were asleep when we checked in (which freaked my dad out), but check-in was swift and quick.

I'd star out with a con -- as this to me, was the only one -- we needed an extra bed and they showed us a mattress (which was old and kept at the corner of the floor and looked quite disgusting). Hence, I offered to sleep on the couch that was in the room -- and this turned out to be really really comfortable.

Although the reception area did look shabby, the rooms were described just as it was. There was a safe (although this did not work in both rooms), air-conditioning (which was cold and awesome), shower gels, towels, a fan (which worked at an amazing speed), TV (with over 200 channels including HBO, AXN, Starplus and the works). Free wifi was available -- although on some days, the reception was weak and we had to use this outside of the room (no problem for me as I usually disconnect from technology when I'm on holiday). Other than that, it worked fine. WIFI was strongest when we were outside of the hotel though. There was free hotel breakfast was described to be "continental", however this was anything but continental. We were offered to choose from a masala thosai/an idli set/a puri set together with either a coffee/tea. You can also choose to have the food delivered to your room or take a one minute walk and stand and eat with the locals, we chose the former. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, but this was not where our breakfast came from. We had room service on one day from the restaurant (which is vegetarian), and I must say it's one of the finest Indian Vegetarian food I've ever tasted in my life. Super affordable too!

Auto drivers are a plenty. Location was awesome! It is close to Meena Bazaar (walk -- 8 minutes, auto - 1 minute, and you should not pay more than 20 rupees), Sultan Bazaar (take an auto - should not pay more than 40 rupees), Chanminar (take an auto - should not pay more than 70/80 rupees). Outside the hotel, there are a few restaurants, The Great Bawarchi Restaurant is a six minute walk away, and on the way there are two supermarkets, tons of push-cart sellers selling fruits (apples, custard apples, guavas, pomegranates, bananas), tons of stores selling punjabi suits, a few tailors, and this AMAZING ice-cream shop (Al-safa) which is a 30 second walk from the hotel -- you'd find the most freshest and creamiest Kulfi ice-cream (Indian ice-cream).

Should you book this hotel, let your driver know that you're going to the Jadgish Mobile Market (where 90% of drivers know where this is). However, as the street in front of the hotel is a one way street, depending on where the driver has come from, you might need to walk a little. But this is not a problem. Jadgish Mobile market is also where you can get SIM Cards and your phone fixed (I got my iphone 4 fixed for SGD 28 and this included changing all buttons as well as to fix the speaker of my phone).

All in all, this stay was truly memorable and enjoyable. Great food, location, basic and decent room, and the works! What more can you ask for!

A special shout out to Madam Vidiya, her husband Mr. Javid who does not work there, but still went out on a limb to help us with purchasing a SIM card and just to give us tips about travelling in Hyderabad. They even waited for us to come back on the last day just to say goodbye. Akram and the housekeeping boys were wonderful. Thank you to all, for making this stay so memorable, where we were truly treated like family.
