I cannot believe that this structure is considered an icon of Hyderabad. It looks good on photos, and that’s where it all ends. In a photo. It’s located in the old city, which smells of grilled food at 11.00 am, and so crowded, you will feel insecure.
Apparently, we have to walk some 200m to get to this building. We looked from the vehicle, looked at the atmosphere there, and just left. My recommendation- just see it in a photo.

We can see this because of the history behind it. Badly kept surroundings, crowded roads, crowded pathways, street vendors obstructing every road. Over all other than having a look at the monument, nothing else to enjoy the visit. Re work on the roads and surrounding is on way.

Amazing place. We were dropped at far location since parking or halting near the monument is difficult.

Walk ensured that we tasted some delicious local street food and went around the monument clicking. Not to forget the adhacent Bazar where you can get good items at bargainable rate. Evening visit was more pleasant though it was more crowded than morning visit

Charminar needs no introduction. Probably the oldest part of the city and naturally really congested place. Full of shops and markets – full of touristy activities. Unfortunately, it is not possible to take some pictures unless you are visiting Charminar in early morning.

Good to see some area around Charminar is reserved for the pedestrians and no car/motor bike is allowed there.
