warm and friendly hotel

this was a lovely stay the staff are so friendly and helpful this is an ideal hotel for all types of holidays not far from the town plenty of pools and a beach as well. it was nice to have an english animation guy glen who was always willing to talk and help people. and a big thanks to fawzy and ibrahim in the bars and rashed for the towels

I was in sonestabeach resort and casino
from 14 April until 25 April my room number 1327. I want start from reception
wael very good meeting
salah also when I ask for tea and coffee in my room he helped me
The restaurant beside reception very nice food. Thanks chef Ahmed he make lovely fetter for me.
Service very good thanks Ehab for your hospitality and the speed of service.

The wonderful staff are this hotel's biggest asset

This hotel could be so much better. The setting is lovely and the building design is unusual with pretty domed ceilings and curved windows. But their standards are not high - food range limited and food often not as hot as it should be, cleaning done to a very basic level both in the rooms and around the resort. We were bitten numerous times around our feet and ankles something that we've never experienced in 15 years of Egyptian holidays.

Dear Guest,

We are sorry to read that you feel that our standards are not high enough.

Our chefs are always on hand to prepare meals for our guests who feel they would prefer something different, other than that which has been presented. We feel that we offer a diverse range of good quality food and it is regularly checked by our chefs using heat probes to ensure that the temperature of the food served is meeting health and hygiene’s exacting standards.

I apologise if you felt your room was not cleaned well enough and I will report this to head of housekeeping. I would like to assure you that we do have a large team of cleaners and gardeners who work around the clock to ensure that the resort is kept clean.

We do advise our guest to use an insect repellent in the evenings to prevent being bitten.

Thank you for complimenting our staff. We hope that as you haven’t mentioned our leisure facilities that you were happy with these too.

We hope that you may consider returning to stay with us again and allow us to prove to you that we are indeed worthy of the 5* that we have been awarded. Thank you for writing you review.

Lovely Holiday, well looked after & such friendly staff !

We stayed for a week at Easter, weather was great, staff were friendly & helpful, food was good lots of variety every day, if you asked anything you were helped immediately. The animation team were great, lots of daytime activities which were fun & kept our children happy (me & my husband too !) A big thanks to GLENN, he was always on hand to help & make your stay more enjoyable !!!!

Wonderful holiday

We've just returned from an amazing two weeks at the Sonesta Beach Resort. Our first trip to Egypt so didn't know what to expect. We went with our daughter, son in law and two grandaughters age 11 and 14 yrs. We all had a wonderful time. They had a family room by the Blue Wave Pool where all the family activities take place, we were at the quieter part near the Citadel Restaurant and pool. The egyptian people are very friendly and helpful. The waiters couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, a huge selection & different dishes every day and always served hot. The beach is a short walk away. Bottles of water are free as are all drinks, bar open from 10.00 am. everyday. Beautiful pools with swim up bar. Free towels and sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. Also free beach bar. Rooms huge with comfortable beds and balcony. Very clean throughout the whole resort and beautifully kept gardens. Entertainment could have been better and more varied. Bathrooms do need redecorating. 15 minute walk into Naama Town for great shopping or taxi for about £3. Weather was great around 30 degrees with a lovely cool breeze.

Room tip: We were in Room 527 at the quieter end. Family rooms are available further along the resort.
