Exceptional. I live in Sharm el Sheikh and frequently visit many of the various hotel restaurants. This week I decided to take my wife to the Rangoli for a romantic Indian dinner and it did not disappoint.
As an outside guest it can be a little worrying about accessing other hotel's facilties but in this case nothing could of been more easy. On arrival at the movenpick resort the security was quick and efficient allowing our taxi to take us direct to reception. On entering the receptionist immediately got a member of staff to show us where the restaurant was located. This was a very small scenic walk just some 20 m.
On entering the restaurant the staff were very warm and welcoming and immediately the terrace views taje your breath away . We had a table on the terrace with awesome views across the hotel pools and the whole of Neema bay.
If visiting in winter time and you wish to sit outside take some warm clothes it can be a bit chilly.
Now to the cuisine. We found the menu to have a good varied selection especially by Sharm standards and the prices quite reasonable. We had mixed bhargi and chicken madras backed by the galic naan. The taste was authentic the quality excellent and the quantity ample. Really I can say at this point if there was anything wrong or perhaps something extra requested I'm sure that it would be no trouble for the staff . A big thank you to Sheriff and Mohammed who looked after us and special thank you to chef Rajendra Singh who took time out to come and check that the food was upto our satisfaction. And inquired about any recommendations.

All in all it was a very enjoyable experience a lovely romantic quality inexpensive dinner. No doubt we will be going back soon. Thank you

I arranged a birthday dinner here for my fiancé with six of our friends.

The good: The table was set for us outside with beautiful flower arrangements and a spectacular view of Naama Bay. The food was good and the service was, for the most part, very good. A delicious chocolate mousse birthday cake was provided as well. Leftovers were packed up without our asking, which was very nice as they were taken by one of our friends for some others who couldn't join us. The prices are more expensive than other Indian restaurants in Sharm, but they don't have the view Rangoli has.

The bad: The mosquitoes ate us alive. Also, the servers were a little pushy and heavy-handed...we each ordered what we wanted as some of us are vegetarian, some like hot and spicy food, some absolutely require no heat, etc., yet the waiters insisted on serving all of us everyone's food, despite repeated requests to not do so...until I had to loudly tell them to stop and only give us what we had each ordered. They also would not let a friend order a chicken biryani, although that is what he wanted and no one else had ordered one, telling my friend, "You have all ordered enough food." I had to get up and ask the server to come back and insisted he take my friend's order.

All in all, it was a good dinner, but I don't think we'll go back as there are quite a few other options without the hassle.
