We were looking for a few days of sun in a boutique style hotel in February. This is it.
The staff is extremely helpful and service minded. The rooms are spacious, modern and well equipped. The lunch and dinners in the dedicated restaurant that belongs to Le Royale are really good. We did venture out into town for a few lunches and dinners elsewhere (we like to explore rather than stay at the hotel all day).
If you are looking for sun bathing on the beach every day, you might want to look for a more beach front hotel. The beach is rather small. the pools are great though.
The majority of the guests are from the Ukraine which sometimes gave us a "holiday expectation clash". The drinking and party behaviour of some of them can get really out of hand.
For a few dollars one of the many taxis will take you anywhere you want to go. Naama Bay, Soho and the Old Market are within a 10 minutes drive.
My only comment is about the music that was played at the poolside. It was loud dance music. I believe that lounge music would be more appropriate or maybe no music at all.
We booked our hotel stay and flights separately (no package deal).More
