We only went here because we had made 'friends' with the waiter! The food was just about edible. It can't really call itself an Indian restaurant from what I tasted. The service was great, but that was because we were the only customers!! Only good thing is the beachfront location - it's on the main boardwalk outside the beach. If only they improved the decor and the FOOD it could be something really special.

Absolutely disgusting, can handle everything from poor decor to rubbish service as long as the food makes up for it. Basically the meat was not fresh and dry and the food tasteless. A beduin sandal would have tasted fresher

We went here on the recommendation of other British visitors who said it had a 'world wide reputation'. I am always wary when people say 'best in the world' etc as this sort of hype is used a lot in the USA when in reality people in the next town haven't heard of the place!!
Sure enough this restuarant was awful, we ordered 2 chicken meals (2 of only 3 on the menu) which turned out to be grissle in a dry bland sauce. We told the waiter the meat quality was terrible- he said white meat is for Korma?
In their favour the vegetable samosas were ok - small consolation - I would strongly recommend visitors give this place a wide berth.
