Superb place . Certainly the best in Siem Reap . The pool view rooms are worth having and the staff a delight . Try their trip to the Floating Vilkage and explore the countryside on a scooter . Very special

The last country on our indochina tour was Cambodia and a stay in Siem Reap, and the Viroth's hotel, was our second from last stop. Neither disappointed. Great service, and unique decor in rooms which makes sure you feel you are in the Khmer empire. Being there during Khmer new year made it even more special. Viroths restaurant is also excellent.

I spent a really lovely 3 days at Viroths over Khymer New Year in mid April. As I was on my own, I opted for a standard room rather than pay for the pool view, but the room was lovely - peaceful, spacious, nice amenities and balcony. Be aware however, there is no lift - so in the heat of the day, getting to the 3rd floor felt like hard work!

The staff were fantastic at all times and it was wonderful to be greeted with a cold towel on return, whatever time of the day or night! I used most of the facilities: bar, restaurant, spa - and although clearly these are charged at 'hotel' prices (everything is much cheaper out of the hotel), the quality and service were excellent.

I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a touch of luxury close to town (there are lots of large 5* resorts out of town on the way to Angkor Wat and the airport). I really liked the fact I could walk to the markets, pub street etc easily and on my own - I never felt unsafe.

This is fairly new hotel in a great location that is quiet but only a few minutes walk from pub street area. The hotel has great Art Deco style decor and feels very luxurious. The staff were excellent, from the moment we checked in right until we left. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. The hotel can also organize tuk tuk drivers to tour Angkor Wat for a great price, no need to look outside. Highly recommended!
