Description: Sister Srey Cafe is a Social Enterprise, in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Run and operated by Sisters Lauren And Cassie. The Girls, opened the business to have "Good Coffee" and also help and support Khmer students and to make a sustainable impact into the community. Our vision at Sister Srey Cafe is to support young Khmer students who struggle to keep a balance between study and supporting their family. Each staff member in trained in hospitality, English language skills, personal development, health and hygiene and banking. We are a stepping stone to a brighter future and a means for them to have skills and knowledge to approach the world empowered and confident. Sister Srey has various incentives and activities in which support the local and rural community. The cafe goes to sustainable measures to help the environment and to be as enviromentally friendly as possible. We are commited to being plastic free, having bio degradable food packaging, organic coffee and miniamising waste. Monthly, our staff participate in our community service program "Helping out a friend" Where each staff member chooses a NGO or project of choice and do something for people less fortunate than themselves. To date we have had, staff building wells and toilets for families, participating in a soup kitchen to feed street children and health workshops. Sister Srey also composts all waste and goes to directly to NGO Green Gecko Farm and has a sustainable recycling program and waste management system. Since opening, the Cafe works along side Hearts to Harmony Foundation. This means 20 percent of profits from the Cafe as well as donations go towards Hearts to Harmony to supports individuals through education, health and hygiene, and supports rural families. Sister Srey is a social enterprise. A cafe with a heart, a cafe with the desire to see change and with the ability to do so.

“My Favorite Restaurant!”
Reviewed 19 April 2017

I have been living here for about 10 months now, and Sister Srey is my favorite restaurant (not just in Siem Reap, but all time favorite). I could order anything off the menu and will be 100% satisfied with it. I come here very often! The pumpkin soup is one of my go-to meals when getting lunch on my lunch break. I also come for Sunday brunch and get the stuffed french toast with an iced latte (pictured). It is always absolutely perfect and hits the spot. Not only is the food good, but the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are so friendly! They are helpful and want to make your dining experience the best. The coffee is one of the best in town! I have absolutely no guilt in how often I eat here!

“Wonderful Food Wonderful Setting”
Reviewed 13 April 2017

We came here twice for lunch and absolutely loved the menu choices, the setting and the food and smoothies !As always super friendly service in Siem, it just makes you feel so welcome. Loved the setting, you can watch the world go by or rather the tuktuk drivers hanging out by the river having a nap or catching up with their friends. I had the grilled mackerel and cucumber salad one day and chicken salad another and they both were just beautiful. Both days these were washed down with a green goddess smoothie which made me feel super healthy ! Im back home now and miss this place so much !

“Best Breakfast in Town”
Reviewed 7 April 2017

We were 3 and we ordered the Green Eggs & Ham served with a little pot of pesto and the Eggs Benedict - both were served up hot and fresh and went down a treat. The portions were generous and all ingredients were super fresh. The service was attentive even though the place was packed and the coffee was first class.

“Just the job”
Reviewed 5 April 2017 via mobile

I stopped for a coffee while the wife got a foot massage. Relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee.

Menu looked interesting and reasonably priced. Got the impression it is charity related, which is a bonus.

“Great coffee”
Reviewed 5 April 2017 via mobile

We visited here for coffee, which is excellent. Run by 2 sisters from Melbourne (Australia), they know how to make good coffee. The menu looked good for breakfast, but we didn't eat here.
