Just arrived in Cambodia (from trip to Thailand) and went out for an evening meal to this restaurant next to our hotel. The restaurant set amongst nice plantation and the interior is very nicely decorated - clean, contemporary but not OTT. The service was exceptional - I have eaten out far and wide, but have yet to meet a more humble, polite and courteous restaurant staff. We were served a three course, traditional Khmer meal which was nothing short of delicious. The food was fresh, healthy and well presented. The drinks menu comes with a variety of FRESH fruit shakes, being a non-alcoholic drinker, I opted for the Coconut Shake - a very refreshing, soothing natural tasting choice.
This was our first time trying Cambodian cuisine and the food here hit the spot. I’m a fussy eater, but had no qualms wolfing down every item on my plate! If you’re in Siem Reap or planning a trip there, be sure to give Chef D’angkor a try. You won’t be disappointed.
