We have found this locally run family restaurant one of the best cheap eats on Street 27 in the Wat Bo area.
The restaurant is quite large with a number of different types of seating options, from regular tables to hammocks or booths where you can sit on the floor. Sometimes further out the back there are Khmer couples or families enjoying the casual local atmosphere.
The menu is in English and offers the usual local favourite dishes. A number of drinks options (soft drink, fruit juice etc) are available, but for alcohol there is only beer.
After trying every Loc Lak in the Street 27 vicinity, the meat-eaters have judged this one the best.
As it's an open restaurant, don't forget mosquito repellent if eating in the evening.
