Writing this review is my first ever on Trip Advisor, even I planned this many times before to do mostly as I was disappointed. This time the opposite, I was impressed of what I felt for just a few days stay in this resort. Having traveled substantially, I had become so critical that my wife didn’t like always my comments during our holidays. In Jaya House we got surprised with the difference in approach and the generosity. If I feel generosity I feel like a welcomed guests who is been cared of. I understand that the resort has still smaller mistakes in the construction works that I recognized in the rooms, however the rooms are spacious and it didn’t bother me in the context of the total feeling.
I enjoyed the breakfast as this is always a very important factor for me and it happened that we even stayed 2 nights in the resort for dinner, which really we enjoyed and much better as the CCF where we went once. I wonder why people seem to need a reservation for a place that has become tired in all aspects. The free tuk tuk was a great service that we enjoyed as we just went at night for a night tour to Angkor Wat and had another early morning trip to Angkor Wat as well. The free drinks in the mini bar we even didn’t have an occasion to use.
What did surprise me most was what happened with my son in the morning as he needed floaties to swim. I brought it up to some staff and after 15 minutes somebody took initiative to buy it in a shop for my son, while they offered in mean time already a drink on the pool before we even started our breakfast. This was a feeling of attention and generosity I could respect and that was honest. This feeling I also got back in the staff work and all services. Therefore we will come back and my body will be happy to get another massage of .. (“sister” as her translated name) as she was really doing good for my hurting back.
My compliments that I surely don’t give easily at any place. I could say even more but I like that each other guests also find their special experience and warm feeling.
