From walking into the hotel at 10:00 p.m. the staff made you feel special.The gentleman who guided us through check in ,with a cold bottle of water a face cloth and a cool yoghurt drink-What a start.The gentleman took us up to our Tower room ,the bed had rose petals in the shape of a heart and there was a bottle of red wine ( celebrating our wedding anniversary - courtesy of Mauela Pino )The tower room was excellent,from the daily fruit to the number of bottles of water in the room.The service continued in the tower lounge at breakfast ,lovely helpful staff.The afternoon tea was better than any five star hotel in England and the two hour drinks with canapes equally as good.The food in Rhodes restaurant was excellent and waiter Hemant was brilliant.The service by the pool ,you couldnt even help put your towels on the sunbed ,they were done for you.Buckets of ice followed frequently ,cool face cloths and small slush puppies to cool you down,The pool staff and pool bar staff were excellent.Everything about the hotel ,the concierge , the housekeeping even the gentleman on the front door giving you directions was superb.We have already started e-mailing Manuela talking about next year,she was so helpful this year even before we went over there.To sum up if the staff could have polished your shoes whilst you were walking they would have done that with a huge smile.We cant wait for next year

We stayed here at the end of Sep18. When we arrived we were immediately given a room (this wasn't expected as it was 8.30am) however it was a twin room and we had requested a King. We were allowed use of this room until the afternoon when a king room became available in the new tower. This room was beautiful, refurbished, modern and spacious with a glorious view of the grounds and sea beyond. I believe the club rooms are due to be refurbished next year. Thank you Eddy for sorting the transfer of rooms and to Sunando for transferring our luggage around! We ate in the Club lounge for breakfast which is quieter and we were always greeted with a smile and a table was always available. The food area was kept immaculately clean, there was always someone clearing dirty spoons and spoon rests and making sure everything hot was stirred regularly. We ate afternoon tea here also and received pre-dinner drinks and Canapes between 6pm and 8pm which is such a lovely touch. We met some great people and the service was excellent. Jaseef (sorry if that's not correct) was really friendly and efficient at topping up our drinks. The buffet restaurant was superb, I ate Sushi every night. The choice was great and everything was always hot. We were on Half Board and so ate from the set menu at Rhodes Twenty10 on one occasion but we were so impressed with the Buffet we didn't try elsewhere. We didn't sample the pools, we prefer the beach and this was clean and the attendants were very efficient at finding beds, topping up ice buckets and handing round cold flannels. The service was impeccable everywhere. Every member of staff says hello when you walk past, the lobby of the hotel is beautiful and the grounds immaculate. We had drinks in the Latitude Bar, it was quite quiet but we enjoyed Happy Hour! We tried Shades but we didn't enjoy this experience so much, the seating was quite tatty. This was our 2nd visit and we can't wait to return. Overall we couldn't fault it, you should be very proud of all of your staff, they made our holiday an amazing enjoyable experience.

Room Tip: Superior Deluxe Rooms in the round tower are modern and spacious.

You don't expect to see so much green...amazing place supported with excellent staff.
At A; Murjan Tea Lounge you will find the best barista in town. "Coffee maestro" DAN will enchanted you with his creations.
Going to the middle pool (there are 3 pools you can enjoy) try to find THAKUR, for he will try his best to make your stay really pleasant.

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at LRM. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. Every member of the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble.
Special thanks to Rajesh, Sujith, Adeel, Asheni and all of the team in the Club Lounge, and Salmani in the Brasserie. Most of our holiday was spent in the lovely infinity pool and the grounds are a delight. We are already planning to return next year and looking forward to another wonderful experience at this hotel.

My wife and I returned to Le Royal Méridien for the 12th time. There are so many families and couples that keep coming back and it’s clear to see why.
The grounds are beautiful and really spacious at the hotel. There is something for everyone. If you want complete peace and quiet there are two pools that are quieter or if you want something more lively then the main pool is perfect for this.
There is a new building being built next door. We sit in the gardens by the infinity pool which is as close to the work as you can get and the worst is definitively over with regarding the noise however in our opinion it wasn’t an intrusion that bothered us.
The teams at the pools do an amazing job and never stop. I’ve got to thank the team around the infinity pool for arranging our sun beds and not letting us lift a finger for 11 days. Hossain has run around for us for 5 years now and he is such a polite helpful man.
When it comes to food I’ve never experienced better choice anywhere around the world. On the half board option which I’d recommend you can eat in either LRM or Grosvenour House. There are shuttle busses that run between the two hotels all day and night free of charge and you are spoilt for choice. With 2 new restaurants on the way there really is something for every occasion.
Brasserie 2.0 is the best buffet restaurant I have ever eaten in and Paul welcomes us with a huge smile every time we go. BBQ night on a Thursday is our favourite time to go with great live music to keep you entertained.
We always opt for the royal club tower rooms which are being renovated in 2019. There is a real intimate service that is offered. Roy and his butler team can’t do enough for you, Dhan has got the biggest smile and goes the extra mile for what ever you need. The same is the case for Ranjan and the club lounge team who we have got to know really well over the last 5 years. I can’t mention one name as they all do an amazing job and it would not be fair to single one person out. They feel like family.
We can’t wait to go back and experience the special LRM welcome and service that beats anywhere else we have been in the world by a long way.
