We have been to KidZania Several times, The concept is amazing but needs more attentions to details like

1-The Sells point counter takes very long time to sell tickets and there was really some confusion about the packages
2- Should be more freebies for kids and lots of attention to details

Took our kids (aged 7&12) for the afternoon. Essentially a brilliant idea with plenty of activities (although it is advertised as suitable up to age 16, which I would disagree with. More suited to aged 10 max). Staff were enthusiastic and work hard! However, shockingly inadequate queuing systems meant that children were allowed to push in. I even saw one girl stamped on by another in order to gain "first place" in a queue. Extremely poor parenting/total lack of discipline and basic manners from the majority made the afternoon extremely frustrating. Oh and bear in mind that the "local currency" earnt by the children through undertaking various jobs equates to utter tat in the "department store" at the end. My daughter meticulously worked her way round numerous "jobs" in order to accrue her money and could only purchase a naff plastic photo frame and/or 2 mini erasers. Instead of leaving Kidzania feeling her hard work had paid off, she left in tears. Will definitely not return - or recommend. Shame.

although inside a mall and supposed to be air conditioned it is very stuffy and has poor ventilation. the tickets are pricey. recommend taking avail of dubai summer pass that givens an excelent value in august 2017. food outlets include a pizza nadpasta place and mcdonalds.
4-5 hours is enough is good for kids 8 years or less.

We really enjoyed our trip to Kidzania, a concept that was created in Mexico but which lends itself to anywhere where there are lots of kids!

Firstly, the cost. You'll pay a minimum 100 Dirhams per child to go in and be given some local money (yes, the kids have their own money too). Secondly, there's lots of activities for the kids to take part in, but there's often a long wait, especially at weekends (I'm talking about 30 minutes here). This is especially true for the popular rides like the airplane.

If you're looking for a full day experience with the kids, this is it. Come early (especially on a weekend), and be prepared to parent queue for the kids so that they don't have to wait.

An amazing feature at Dubai Mall. A must to do if visiting Dubai Mall. Its a secure location and a city within the mall. My kids loved it and would definitely take them again if in Dubai.
