I have just returned from 10 days stay in this hotel with my parents....... WOW!!!
From our arrival to leaving our stay was amazing, the decor, staff, food, rooms, there was nothing to complain about.
Firstly, any one looking to stay in pure luxury, this hotel is just for you, the rooms are beautiful & spacious, the food in the main restaurant was lovely, the Lebanese was a particular favourite of mine, the bar staff & assistant manager in the Voda Bar was so friendly & helpful, always happy & chatty.
I definitely plan to return, next time with my husband.

The hotel is absolutely stunning no words to discribe it left me speechless. The staff are very friendly, would like to say a special thank you to Kasi and Sarah who were very friendly every morning I had breakfast at the imperium. The lady outside the imperium was also very friendly every morning but apologies I cannot recall her name. Would definitely recommend people to stay at this hotel as it is just spectacular. The house keeping staff are also lovely a special thanks to Farhan who left us some lovely chocolates. The restaurants are very nice if you like indian food then I would definitely recommend a visit to Amala the food there was the best I have ever tasted and the waiter there was able to recommend some great dishes. Will be coming back to Zabeel Saray very soon.

My wife and I came here in Oct for the 1st leg our honeymoon. The hotel is out of this world and something we have never experienced before! 45 min drive from the airport for about 110 DHs. based at the bottom end of the palm. Luggage is taken from us by the porters as soon as we arrived. Met with drinks whilst we waited to check in. As soon as you enter you know you have reached paradise. The aroma from the flowers to the amazing chandeliers! Smooth check in - room with palm sea view facing the Marina.
The room is top end luxury! Huge bath tub, tv on the wall, plenty of toiletries. Luggage quickly brought up to our room to us.
Dined on the HB basis. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices for all. Quick and attentive service whilst dining. We dined at Amala the Indian which was amazing. The Italian at JBH Carnevale - Lovely setting outside overlooking the Burj. However service was a tad slow here. Then also at the Pan Asian Buffet which was really good too.
Shuttle buses every few hours are ideal and stop at Mall of Emirates, Wild Wadi, Madinath etc. We used these everyday.
Overall thank you for an unforgettable honeymoon experience. We hope to return sometime in the future!

We'd always wanted to visit Dubai but weren't expecting to be quite as bowled over as we were after our stay at this incredible hotel.

We stayed for four nights, making the most of a free half board offer (early November tends to be a quiet time, after the UK half term holidays and before the Christmas/New Year festivities, so there are some good deals around). We chose this particular hotel because we wanted to experience life on The Palm, and liked the idea of being away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. The views back towards the city from The Palm, especially at night, are spectacular, and the hotel's private beach borders one of the inner lagoons, so the water is very calm and safe for swimming. The only drawback to this location is that it takes about 15 minutes to drive back to the mainland, so perhaps if you wanted to do lots of sightseeing or shopping it wouldn't be such a good choice. However, as we were there mostly for rest and relaxation, it suited us well. The hotel also runs a free shuttle bus to the Mall of the Emirates and Wild Wadi water park, which is helpful, and from these locations you can catch taxis or take the metro to other parts of the city.

The interior of the hotel is breathtaking: I defy anyone not to be completely bowled over by the gilded columns and trickling fountains of the main lobby. We'd wondered if we would find the interiors a bit too much, but somehow it seemed to work and we were mesmerised from the moment we stepped through the main entrance. Our room was similarly opulent: certainly the most luxurious we have ever stayed in. It was huge (even though it was one of the more basic rooms), completely silent (amazing soundproofing), beautifully cool and with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and private beach. The bathroom seemed to be kitted out entirely in marble, including the bath, which was so large it was possible to swim in it without touching the sides!

As would be expected, housekeeping was amazing, with a good evening turn down service (including filling up the ice bucket for the all-important gin and tonics on the balcony!).

The hotel has a good choice of restaurants, and the half board deal entitles you to eat, without extra charge, at most of them (although a few dishes do carry a supplement). You can also eat at other Jumeirah hotels if you wish, although there is a large supplement for having a meal at the Burj al Arab, the Saray's more famous sister hotel (we didn't try this, although were tempted). Overall, the standard of food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Turkish restaurant, where we were able to double up on starters as we are not so keen on desserts. We also tried the Indian and Lebanese restaurants. On Mondays to Thursdays there is a buffet dinner in the largest of the restaurants, which we didn't try, but imagined that it would be good as the breakfast buffet there was superb. On Fridays and Saturdays brunches are served here.

Looking back on our stay at the hotel, we both felt that what really stood out was the way the staff treated guests. Everyone was so polite and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that everything was just as it should be. When we arrived early in the morning, we spent a lot of time with the receptionist, discussing various room options, and she looked after us very well with complimentary coffees on the terrace and access to the spa so we could shower and change while our rooms were being prepared. By the time she rang us to say the room was ready, we were happily settled on the lovely sun loungers on the beach, with our little bag of iced water bottles hanging off the umbrella, and felt in no hurry at all to go and unpack! All very relaxing.

In fact every single member of staff we came across gave the impression that they really enjoyed working at the hotel, and were keen to make our stay as memorable as possible. A lot of them said that they had worked for several years at the hotel (it is 5 years old next year), and that they felt part of a family. That was really nice.

All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing few days, and felt very pampered. The only thing we would want to make others aware of (which is typical of all of Dubai) is that alcohol is ridiculously expensive in the hotel. We took advice and bought a bottle of duty free gin at the airport on arrival so we could have an early evening drink without breaking the bank, but had to cope with a £75 bill every night for our "free" half board dinner, as we couldn't do without a bottle of wine and a bottle of water!. Lunch on the beach was pricey, too, although the portions were huge, so we tended to share a plate. And if we hadn't had our half board package, we would have spent a small fortune on breakfast and dinner.

Room Tip: Inward, beach-facing rooms are quieter as the road runs along the outer edge of The Palm
