Not only is this Mosque a must when you visit Isfahan, it should be your first port of call. This Mosque reflects all the historical events over the centuries, the different dynasties and how they contributed to its architecture. From the early 9th century, through the Seljuks to Shah Abbas and the magnificent "verandahs" he had build. Take a good guide to introduce you to the wonderful stor of Isfahan and its Jame Mosque.

worth the walk and an enjoyable one, when taking the covered bazaar path - when it rains or sun is shining
