On my first night in Kotor I stumbled out of my close by apartment and found myself attracted by the friendly vibes of this place. A well priced set menu provided a tasty introduction to Kotor's food and Montenegran wines followed by an excellent coffee. A great start to a holiday.

The food and wine selection in the Old Winery is by far some of the best in the Old Town. The prices are a bit high but the food, service and atmosphere make it all worth while. It is not typical tourist food. A wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The best pasta outside of Italy. They were accommodating for a vegetarian as well. The wine is excellent and thoughtfully recommended for your dish.

Visiting this beautiful old town for my 50th birthday.
There are so many lovely restaurants as you wander round that it is difficult to chose were to eat.
The Old Winery caught our eye down a little narrow street. Even though it was gone 9pm they welcomed us and we sat outside in the cooling air.
We ordered the chicken menu and steak menu priced at €15 and €20 euro. Both delicious. The wine we had was a vranac pro corde 2013 Montenegro red at €25. And the royale mojito worth the €7 . serve excellent, staff friendly and attentive without being over bearing.
They do a wine taster with platter which we are going to try later today ..... As long as we make it back down from our hike to the fort.

We popped in for a glass of wine during our visit in Kotor. The waiter had great about wine and helped pick out the best wine for our preferences. When we accidentally knocked over a glass of wine she helped in the most professional way, and we didn't leave feeling unwelcome back.

Multiple top wines, served in warm location with beautiful terrace.
The place also serves great food which may look expensive at first sight.
However, when you taste the quality and the professional serving, the price is fair and correct ! Quality should be rewarded with good price !
Add the excellent service of the people working here and the result is that this is one of the best places in Kotor to spent the evening/night.
Highly recommended !
