Took a speed boat to Perast. Gorgeous views and would highly recommend. Probably takes less time than visiting with a taxi and nicer view.

after tendering from your cruise ship into Kotor, i would very highly recommend the hop on hop off bus. for the price of 20 euros for the first 2 people and 10 euros for the 3rd and maybe less for the 4th (the average cost per person about 15 euros, this bus takes you to the mosaic museum in Risan, to Perast and the Maritime Museum and an escorted city tour of Kotor. the ship excursion for these tours would be about $150. we met a fellow passenger whose party paid about 100 euros for less than what we experienced. if you have enough time, you can take a boat ride to the church of our lady of the rocks for about 5 euros; otherwise, it would be about $100+ to visit Perast and the church if booked through the cruise line.

A nice walk when visiting Kotor, a pretty bay nice looking at all the boats, visited in June and it was so hot, no breeze even near the water

Theres a reason why this is a Unesco world heritage site! Its stunning. Deep fjords and towering mountains glistening waters. Ancient towns dotting the coastline. Take a boat ride for a different perspective or drive the serpentine roads for amazing views.

I had wanted to come to this enchanting place ever since I had seen pictures of the wonderful bay a few years ago. Recently I was lucky enough to spend a few days here. The views are stunning, especially on the main road as you climb out of Kotor. The water is clear, and although beaches are small and are gravel, the swimming is great as the water is so calm.
