Theres a reason why this is a Unesco world heritage site! Its stunning. Deep fjords and towering mountains glistening waters. Ancient towns dotting the coastline. Take a boat ride for a different perspective or drive the serpentine roads for amazing views.

I had wanted to come to this enchanting place ever since I had seen pictures of the wonderful bay a few years ago. Recently I was lucky enough to spend a few days here. The views are stunning, especially on the main road as you climb out of Kotor. The water is clear, and although beaches are small and are gravel, the swimming is great as the water is so calm.

Known simply as Boka, the picturesque bay, commanded by high mountains and cliffs, winds inland of the Adriatic Sea with an area of 87 square kilometres and 8 towns on its shores.
In the bay are several islands, most notably the Island of Flowers with its monastery and Mamula with a resort in an 18th century fort. Plenty to do and see, from boatrides to biking and tours.

It is nice enough but we had been told the scenery was stunning and comparable to Switzerland. Not so in my opinion.
