Located inside the walls this boutique hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Matej (Matthew) took us around, showed us restaurants, places to go, things we should do. He even bought us our first Croation Beer Ozujsko, which is delicious, as well as sharing local sausages. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning, with a lovely presentation and different every day--fruit, pastry, eggs, coffee, and a green "smoothie" that was to die for and really healthy too. We were there a night when the cathedral was lit up with colors and a rock band was playing Beatles Music! Dubrovnik is amazing and we will be back to the city and St. Joseph's.

Visiting an unknown city for the first time with your parents can be a daunting thing to do. Luckily staying at St Joseph’s ensured that our vacation went perfect and smoothly.

From the first time we saw Matheo (one of the hotel’s staff) picking us up at the entrance of the Old Town, to his goodbye when taking us back to the entrance (for our airport transfer) - he (and the rest of the St Joseph’s staff) made sure we had a super memorable stay at Dubrovnik.

We just LOVE the hotel (have I mentioned that the building is a UNESCO heritage building with big wood beams), the decor, the amenities, the in-room breakfast with green smoothies.

They will make sure everything is taken care of. No requests or questions are too big or too small. Restaurant recommendations, tours/cruises, or even ice cream recommendations (I heard Matheo has almost tried every single flavour offered at his favourite ice cream parlors, so ask him!).

It almost like staying at a boutique version of St Regis, so I really hope I will come back again one day to Dubrovnik and re-experince St Joseph’s all over again

A fantastic and central location in this beautiful city but more importantly...

Great rooms with a lot of heritage
(Exposed original beams and stonework)and the right amount modern touches (spectacular bathroom and useful kitchenette). Staff that overwhelmed me with assistance, advice, and care - Was a bit lost on way in and they found me and picked me and guided me to the hotel when I arrived and took me and my luggage to the taxi on departure. And a delicious fresh breakfast served in-room by the maid staff. Couldn’t have been any better!

Apologies for some messy photos!

St. Joseph’s is in an outstanding location in the old town, with helpful and unfailingly charming staff, comfortable rooms and beds. Note that they only have very large pillows, cushions really, with no option to have normal, smaller, softer, pillows. However, there are no common areas, no bar, nothing except a staircase from street level up to the rooms. I would say this is more of a luxurious B&B with limited facilities than an hotel which is fine except for the fantastical prices they charge.

Hello St. Joseph's! We just wanted to tell you how much we all enjoyed our stay with you! You all could not have been kinder, more helpful or more generous!

We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did to make our time with you perfect.

I especially appreciate all of your help in coordinating everything for all of us and answering all of my emails. The preparation you assist with made everything so much more enjoyable and relaxing.

From the quality of the beds, to the style of the rooms to the lovely bathrooms (and robes!!), to the scrumptious breakfasts, everything was sublime!

We will highly recommend you to our friends when they come through Dubrovnik and would love to stay with you again!
