This villa/ apartment is located in a quieter part of town but with everything you need in walking distance. The room was simple but all clean and comfortable with really helpful and welcoming staff. We could have done with a little kitchen which I believe the larger rooms did have. The pool on the roof is the crowning glory with stunning views for miles in all directions. Hop on the bus right out the front to the old town within 10/15 minutes or a 5 minute walk down to the stunning sunset beach area where there’s plenty of restaurants and bars. Throughly recommended!

Very warm welcome by Anamaria who showed us around and gave us the best tips for seeing Dubrovnik in one day. Unfortunately it was too windy to use the pool but it looked nice and there was a great view. Very good value for money, close to the bus stop, the bus takes you to the old town in 10 minutes. We were allowed to leave our car after check out until the end of the day, which was really great. Can recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Would stay here again. Amazing view from roof top pool. Parking spaces at front. Lovely and very helpful receptionist when she is there as reception not always open. Have had to go knocking on owners door who lives inside the complex of the villa.
Overall had a great stay.

We just finished a few days at the villa and would certainly recommend it overall.

The pool’s view is awesome and the whole place is well run and clean and tidy.

The rooms are a little scrappy (our plug was loose in the wall - one bedside light is only operable buy unplugging it etc). But the room was comfy and had a nice balcony.

We’d suggest the management consider adding a little morning starter pack to the rooms (a few tea bags, a bottle of water some long life milk etc) as it’s a bit bare in the morning and the shops although close are not on the doorstep.

The location is pretty good, the bus to town is close and two sets of beaches are nearby.

We felt the taxi fee we were charged was high @ 40e. After we’d paid we saw airport taxis everywhere for 200k - half the price.

Anyway - overall very happy and would recommend.

Plenty of good points here but a few on the down side as well hence average rating.

The room itself was nice and we had a really good sized balcony. Unfortunately its once nice view was obscured by ongoing building work on an apartment block next door which is really had an impact on the place no doubt at annoyance of owners. The builders were only there once thankfully but still its only half way constructed. The villa is at the top of a steep hill on a very busy road and also set over 4 levels so again you may need to think if there are any mobility issues. There is no lift and if like us you are on bottom floor the steps are not easy with suitcases.

In the apartments itself there is a standard 2 ring hob with good enough cooking pots, pans etc. For once there was even a really good frying pan. We also had a good kettle, microwave, sandwich toaster and coffee filter. There was a fridge as well but a little bit smaller than normal which was a pain.

Bedrooms were nice size and they were really comfortable plus big fluffy pillows. All rooms had air conditioning which worked very, very well indeed.

I noted issues about cleaning and changing of towels on previous reviews. This isnt bad service the owners just leave you alone and if you want cleaning just ask. We actually liked not having somebody around every morning as gave it the feeling it was more your home for the fortnight.

As I say you are on top of a hill but if you leave by bottom exit you are only 5 mins away from Pemo Supermarket which is very reasonably priced and has all that is needed for self catering. If you walk down the main road there is a nice little bakery then few minutes further there is a larger Tommy supermarket.

By walking out the bottom exit you can head down to a small beach. Again a steep hill which may be an issue. Beach is all pebble so make sure you have sea shoes and something to lie down on. Five minutes further along is Cobacobana beach which is a lot busier and more active. Expensive for drinks as well but pretty classy.

Walking down the hill 5 mins is the Lapad Strip. One big street down to Sunset beach and has everything from fast food, bars, restaurants and hotels. We mainly stayed in this area as it was much better value than old town.

I note from reviews the bus is best way to get into town. Didnt try it as the Uber App is so fantastic here. I never paid more than £4 to get to old town in an air conditioned taxi so why even consider a busy bus.

Lastly all the photos show the pool and it looked quite small. It does not do it justice and a really quite decent size. What the photos do not also show is just how good the view is from the top. This place could have been a terrible but the view here would make up for it all day long. There is loads of chairs and sun loungers here so we just brought up beers or wine and just chilled at times. If you are a sun worshipper you could pretty much be here in the rays from dawn to dusk.

Just a couple more, the internet wifi was very good indead and suitable for steaming TV quality. We did go to Valamar pool one day but really not worth effort. We go to smaller places like this to avoid busy pool areas. Do make the effort to go though as if you look at the valamar complex map there is a small shopping mall right in the middle of the area which I doubt many visitors even find. There is also entertainment here some nights if you dont fancy going down the town.

Room tip: Higher floors mean less steps to the pool.
