I read some negative reviews about this place before we went, all I can say is that everyone is entitled to their own view. We have just returned from a weeks stay in Villa Antea. We had apartment 15 which was a 2 bedroom, full size kitchen area, living area and huge balcony. Very clean and all in working order.
Apartments are at the top of the hill in the area but the stunning views make up for the hike everyday (unless you get a bus or taxi which we only done when bringing water etc from the supermarket) it’s quiet at night so you can get a good sleep.
Rooftop Pool is great for cooling down after being out and about or if you just want to chill, plenty of sunbeds and chairs/ tables. You can watch the cruise ships coming and going.
10 mins walk down the hill will take you to Lapad Strip, full of bars / restaurants and stunning Sunset Beach which has amazing sunsets. 20 mins by #6 bus will take you into old town, so much to see we spent full day there, (15 Kuna if bought on bus or 12 kuna if bought from kiosk - once ticket is stamped on bus it’s valid for 1 hour) went back again and took water taxi to Cavtat (highly recommended and did not disappoint) around 45 mins journey for 150 kuna (around £18) excellent sunset...I read some negative reviews about this place before we went, all I can say is that everyone is entitled to their own view.
