We stayed four nights at the Villa Allure. The location is very good a five minute walk to the old town with good views on the way.
We found the staff very friendly helpful and always willing to talk to us
We celebrated out 37th wedding anniversary and they made us a special breakfast and also gave us a gift of wine and chocolate.
There was everything you needed in the room

I found this review quite hard to write due to my mixed feelings, the building and rooms are beautiful and the pool area is small but quiet and peaceful!

The location is incredible and so close to the town its unbelievable.

However the staff aren't helpful at all and not attentive. There is supposed to be a fridge with water, I has to ask on several occasions for this to be filled up, I had to ask for a towel also, when these should be provided within the cost.

The cost was expensive, which I would expect with such a central location however the staff don't justify the cost.

There seemed to be some kind of care taker/ chef gentleman who hung around constantly and made everyone feel awkward.

The breakfast isn't great, which I knew when booking and reading the reviews prior to going, however I thought this related to the choice (which wouldn't bother me as I only eat fruit and yoghurt) however there only seemed to be one member of staff that replenished this when she was on duty.

The housekeeping was good and seemed to change when we were out which was great and the housekeeper was friendly!

Overall our time in Dubrovnik was amazing however I wouldn't recommend this property.

Room tip: Go to the hotel opposite for any type of view!

We’ve stayed in Villa Allure for three days due to the recommendation of hotel Excelsior. Everything was great-we had a ground floor room with a small terrace equipped with loungers, the bed was comfortable, room spacious enough and the complete property is clean. The pool area was a great place to relax at, the staff was always available for any assistance needed (they helped us with parking as well). The location of the property is perfect-close enough to the center but away from any noise - what else could you possibly need?!

Don’t waist your time, there is better options in Dubrovnik. Hotels employee are not helpful and don’t help you to have a great time when staying in the hotel (few indication, they even asked me to carry my luggage), the pool is really small, lots of stairs and if you rent a room with terrace... it’s on the basement and it’s only 4 walls and the sky. Looks like the owner tried too had to optimize the space and forget that it’s all about the experience if you want to charge this price...

This hotel is a notch about a basic hotel at a luxury price. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the “charm” that other people saw, but the room was clean and the air conditioning was fine. The pool is a plunge pool and nothing more. The location is great, not far from the Old Town. I didn’t appreciate the deceptive advertising of their “partial sea view” rooms. See the picture. See the sea between the trees and building to the right? LOL
