This building has a museum about pharmacy which was very interesting with a range of displays. The building itself, and particularly the courtyard, was very beautiful. I recommend that you stop and have a look.

A quit, and beautiful monastry, worth a visit when you're in Dubronik. Takes a short time to see, but make sure you have bought the Dubrovnik Card (gives entrance to the walls, musea, and also here - includes also bustickets).

This is one of the first museums you can get to when you walk through the city gate. Because the crowds were overwhelming we ducked into the monastery using our Dubrovnik Card. The noise and activity level dropped from a ten to a one instantly. I personally felt like I was transported to the past and could almost feel the presence of long gone monks. Stepping back into the 1300's is not an everyday experience for Americans. I would do it again.

Right next to the entrance to the Walls, the visit to the Monastery allows you to visit the Cloisters, and a small museum that has some art works, jewelery and church stuff.
Its nice to visit, 30kn per person.

We had been told this was the oldest pharmacy in Europe and the museum was worth seeing, however we didn't think the museum was worth the time or 30 kuna. The pharmacy portion of the museum is one wall with vases and three or four glass cases of old books. That is all.

The other portions of the museum show some church relics including pieces of various saints, but still quite limited.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one. There is little to see and the only descriptions are the names of the items themselves.
