The hotel itself is beautiful. The courtyard and roof terrace are fantastic. The rooms are large and the bathroom is good. We found the room quite cold and dark. Because the room over looked the courtyard you couldn’t open the blind . It would have been nice to have lights on the roof top terrace so you could sit out in the evening and have a drink. The hotel doesn’t have a laundry service which is strange, however there is a laundry on 5th and 7th called Summer laundaria . The hotel was helpful when we needed to print some paperwork . The breakfast is good but the service is slow . I asked for a bowl of fruit that came with yogurt and granola . On one day there was no yogurt and no explanation. Beware they put fruit on that’s not on the menu. I have a severe kiwi allergy, there was no kiwi listed, however it came out in my bowl. I explained I’m allergic and it was just removed. There was a big lack of understanding of allergies. It was challenging getting a total replacement as the kiwi had touched the other foods . Antigua is a gorgeous city and the hotel is well placed and very safe. If you don’t want to walk at night you can call an Uber and it’s really cheap.
