Antigua has a lot of interesting hotels, but if you want to have the ultimate experience, you can't go wrong with Camino Real. This is a high end hotel with a lot of great features. It's located a few minutes walk from the center, but still far enough to keep it quiet. Totally secure. Has great amenities and staff. The interior is gorgeous. It has everything you would expect: restaurants, pool, parking, a store, good wi-fi, very quiet rooms, comfortable beds.

I found this hotel to be absolutely immaculate. It clean and modern while maintaining a authentic charm of what you would visualize for a hotel in Central America. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy all Antigua Guatemala has to offer.

While strolling along Antigua's historic center, we stopped for a refreshing break at "Bar Las Cañas, right at the entrance of hotel "Camino Real Antigua". This is a beautiful hotel and probably one of the best lodging options in Antigua. "Bar Las Cañas" is cozy and welcoming, with a friendly and attentive staff. Ideal for refreshing drinks, snacks or even for a simple "Expresso" coffee. Unmissable! Enjoy!
