A very nice open air museum within a beautiful park. Entrance is not expensive and you can see a great number of different buildings from Romania. It's only a 4/5 because sometimes I missed better Informationen on what I saw.

A place full of authentic Romanian history! Worth to visit! It is a quiet, relaxed and beautiful place in the heart of the city. Easy to arrive by bus or subway. Located in a very elegant and expensive area of the Bucharest.

As the name suggests it is a museum showing the (Romanian) Village. It was professor Dimitrie Gusti who dedicated his life to build this type of authenticity of rural Romania, therefore it is also called ‘Dimitrie Gusti Museum’.
The museum was opened in 1936. It displays more than 300 houses, some of them have at least two or three centuries’ history. Apart from the houses, it displays the furniture and farm tools etc. It is a collection of Romanian country life houses, in the meantime, it gives visitors an idea of their lifestyles.
It is a popular attraction while visiting the capital.

A beautiful place with lots to learn about while being in a relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the busy capital city.
