We love going through markets all over the world so i cannot say this is the best my husband and I have ever been to. We came on a Tuesday and there were many booths selling mostly the same things. Prices may vary a little depending on ur bargaining skills. Handmade items would cost so much more...and when it is not and they tell u handmade then I wonder if that is true. I bought a sweater 55 soles and 2 scarfs at 25 soles each. A handmade table runner with Alpaca hair was quoted 300 soles. That we didnt buy. I am going to the Chinchero market on Sunday so i hope i can find better stuff there.

Lots of cool souvenirs to buy. The square is filled with market stalls to wander through. After having a walk through...come back to your favorite item and after some haggling, you can hopefully get a nice price. There's a great carrot cake place close by too.

We went to the market a couple of times during the week to pick up some trinkets to bring back as gifts. We found the vendors to be very friendly and for the most part with our Spanish and the vendors English we could get the deals done.

We loved Pisac market, bought so many things here from hats to jewellery and scarfs for reasonable prices.
Lots of stalls with different items to sell. The sellers were not pushy at all, they were very sweet and helpful.

We were not there on a Sunday so I can't comment what that's like. Stopped as part of the sacred valley tour. Didn't like it. On a weekday it is just tourist souvenir type stuff. On a short stop didn't have much chance to look around a lot. Our guide said it used to be really good but is now just like all the other tourist markets. I prefer to go to food markets that locals use. I'm not sure this is worth a special visit but if it's part of your tour it's just ok.
