Sure the ocean front and Gaudi inspired mosaic is nice to look at..
But, beyond that, move on to other sites.. There are more interesting things to see in Lima (in my opinion)..

it offers a great view of the ocean. the statue is really bad though. they should have left the view

El Parque del Amor is a really lovely little park along the water. The art is nice to look at - statue, mosaics, lovers locks - and a good way to spend some time while in Lima. I would not, however, go far out of my way to stop here if my time were limited.

Central sculpture dominates this park that is styled after Parc Guell in Barcelona.
Right next to this park you can also see the paragliders take off on the edge of the cliff face.

We came here for about thirty minutes and saw the sculptures and explored the area.
Overall it is well kept and nicely spaced out. Plenty of areas to sit and relax and watch the day go by.
It’s not a busy park so it never felt over crowded or noisy.
Would recommend for a quick stop if you’re in the area.
