Myself and a friend did this tour in October and it was fricking awesome. We initially has our hearts set on the longer tour into the Reserve Zone, but sadly our dates didn't match. Despite this, we had a brilliant time and the tour was completely wildlife-focussed. Everyone else on the tour (5 others) booked through Amazon Wildlife Tours.
Our guide, Jordy, was enthusiastic and has excellent knowledge about everything. He was committed to making sure everyone saw the wildlife and were able to take photos too. We saw sooooo much! Loads of birds, insects on the night walk, a Tapir and deer in the camouflage house (SO GOOD)...
accommodation was comfortable and basic, and meals were varied with fruit and veg (sometimes basic!).
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who loves wildlife and wants an adventure!

Myself and a friend did a 6 day tour with Ryse to the reserved zone. I can’t praise Ryse and his team enough for making our time enjoyable. He grew up in this area and knows it well and was enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. I highly Recommend visiting Manu National Park with this company. Thanks Ryse!!

PS get Ryse to show you his photos, he is an amazing photographer but very modest!

We did a 5 day tour and got to see the true jungle of Peru. It was organised so well that everthing felt natural. The food was healthy, fresh and delicious! The lodges were super cleen and suited the environment.
Our guide Moises is definitely the king of the jungle, unbelieveble how he spots so many animals and birds. He knows every animal we got to see and everyday he told us lots of jungle stories about his childhood and his family. Just a perfect trip!

This is an excellent operator and one of the few, owned and operated by locals (people who actually live in Manu). We did a 6-day trip to the reserved zone. If was a wonderful trip with lots of wildlife encounters and beautiful landscapes. The only downside, if you decide on whether or not to go, is the long and difficult way in and out the national park.

We do suggest to go to Manu for 6 days. The road (bus and boat) each way takes up to 15 hours. You will stop for wildlife, food and toilet on the way, but the road is long and isn’t easy, so going for shorter time might not be the best investment/ return ratio.

The organisation of the tour was perfect. We also asked Bonanza for advise on a rafting and biking trips. Both were managed in similarly perfect way, although Bonanza was not operate either.

The lodges in the jungle are quite basic but have charm. There is no hot water and in 2 out of 3 lodges the toilet is in the common area. It didn’t bother us much.

The food was ok. We wished it was less noodles and rice and more local food; there were some very good meals occasionally.

Our guide - Moises - was the main reason for us enjoying the trip so much. He knows anything thee is to know about jungle and has an incredible ability for spotting wildlife. He is also a cool and chilled guy to travel with.

Overall we highly recommend bonanza as your travel agency. Just a last note: I mixed up the payment amounts and tried to pay them more. They noticed and gave back the money. Very honorable.

It was really a incredible jungle experience. I can 100% recommend to book a tour with the Bonanza Agency.

After some...should I do it... I took finally the 6 days instead of the 4 day tour. If you can manage it somehow I truly recommand to take the 6 days or even more. the lreserve zone. There is more wildlife going on and less civilization. Its worth it.

The days are really well structured and varied (nightwalks, hot springs, morning raft trip, night observations etc...).They managed it to get the most out of from each day.
Our tour guide was Moises. He was great. It was just stunning how he discovered the animals during our jungle walks. Also his deep knowledge and his passion about flora and fauna was fascinating. During the tour he will arouse your jungle enthusiasm just he did it in my case. Along the tour he will also get to your individually wishes and needs so that you will feel comfortable in the jungle.

I‘m glad to had the chance to experience the Manu National Park along my trip around Southamerica.
