everything was great. no complaints.

its fine for breakfast but you will have to eat elsewhere. but there are some lovely places to eat on diniwid, like the restaurant a few metres from artista.

staff will help any way they can and the rooms are lovely. plus its right by the sea :D

Room Tip: get a sea view ;)

Artista is very nice guest house and the location is wonderful . The beach is beautiful with white sand and clean water. Great for swimmers . The rooms are spacious and clean , staffs are just extra ordinary , they are gentle and very helpful. Paul who brought us from the last leg of our journey to the hotel is simply hardworking and amazing young man. The breakfast is simple but good and enough coffee or tea. Great view from the roof top restaurant and bar. Overall , we enjoyed staying in this place.

Artista Beach Villas is in fact a small hotel at the far end of Diniwid Beach (near the Spiders Bar). We booked (and paid 100% in advance) the two ground floor rooms (at a high Christmas premium price!) but sadly the manager gave one of them to another guest so our family was split up. In spite of that we enjoyed our stay at Artista. You are just 25 metres from the sea and can swim all day (i.e. at both low and hide tides). The breakfast was generous with as much coffee as you can drink and was served with the wonderful views on the roof top terrace. There are a lot of people marching back and forwards to the Spider Bar - especially at sunset time- but this is not really disturbing and after sunset the beach is empty and quiet. The roofs are basic (probably a little overpriced at $100/night/double- but it seems everything is on Boracay especially in very high Christmas season). You can walk along the sea path to Station 1, 2 and 3 (about 30 minutes to reach D/Mall area) and easily get a ride back after dark with a motorbike taxi. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned daily and wifi signal was Ok most of the time. We arranged a pick up from Kalibo airport as an extra which was smooth and efficient. Boracay is definitely over-developed and expensive - but if you plan to visit and want to be a bit away from the madness of Station 2 - you could definitely consider Artista.

The rooms are spacious, clean, with air con and a balcony. It's a quiet place and most quests are couples or familys. The owners are great and really go the extra mile for their guests, very helpful and kind. The hotel is located on the other side of the island from white beach which is both a pro and a con. There is a shuttle bus that leaves from the hotel to station one two and three, and to Puka beach twice a day so it's fairly easy to get around the island. Illig-Illigan beach is a short three minutes walk from the hotel. This is a quiet beach with nice snorkle opportunities. Overall a nice stay!

We stayed here for 4 nights in March. The Artista is located at Din Iwid Beach, a short 10 minute tricycle ride from Station 2. This is a very quiet area of Boracay. If you are a party person, DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel itself is a small 9 room building that reminds you of the Greek islands. While the rates are not cheap and may appear expensive please be aware no accommodation in Boracay is cheap so this is entry level. We arrived about 10.30 am well before check in time but no mention was made and we were happily welcomed in. The manager also advised that we could choose from 2 different rooms which after a quick look we decided on (Dos) ground level room with private bathroom, small terrace and partial sea view. It was exactly what we needed. The rooms are plain but clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is yummy and they let you choose anything up to the value of 220 pesos.
We chose to pay a little extra for transfers in both directions. I recommend doing this simply to save your sanity. With the number of tricycle, taxis and ferries you need to ride to get from Caticlan to Boracay trying to do it yourself is not worth the couple of pesos you'll save.
As mentioned by others the staff are all lovely and I would happily stay here again. It is basic it is simple but it is a wonderful quiet relaxing place that recharges the batteries after the chaos of Station 2.
