To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first when the restaurant next door gave us a coupon for a $10 USD massage for an hour?! While it's not luxurious, it is way cleaner, than most Chinese massage places in NYC. I'm very particular with my massages and we both found our treatments very relaxing and enjoyable. Try to book first if you can. We tried to go back twice and they were booked. We also tried to phone them to make an appointment and they didn't answer. If you want a cheap massage in Station 3 this is a good spot.
don't be late they will take it out from time of your massage, they will tell you this right as you come in and stress you even more. they are not nice, not friendly and, not considerate, regardless of the fact that you are in vacation, how far you're coming from, traffic... has room has mosquitos, bed smell, and the pillow around my face. the place felt damp very humid and smell of mildew. not hygenic. nami and mandala charge more or less the same and you will be pampered and not be stress. this place is a rip off do not fall in a trap of their big discount.
My wife and I spent one month last May and another this year in Boracay and had massages every other day at Yasuragi. Sue is Korean and grew up getting massages, as Korea is a Spa culture. In addition, she has owned a women's spa in NYC. We always get massages wherever we go, and has included Thailand, Bali, Cambodia, Vietnam, and S. Korea.
We're very happy with the quality of the massages we've received at Yasuragi, but perhaps it's because we've found the right masseuses. After a few try's we settled on Fatima for her, and Melanie for myself, and now they always schedule them for us.
We always prebook and pay for the next session as we leave, thus getting their discount ( 50% last year, changed to 40% this year ) from their normal 1000 pesos for one hour, and we always tip the girls 300 each.
When we were there this year they were renovating the spa roof and interior so the massages were conducted in the rooms of the ajoining Surfside resort, but you could still shower before and after, and receive your complimentary drink at Nagisa coffee shop and restaurant. I believe all three establishments are owned by the same corporation in Japan.
Because of Nagisa restaurant and Yasuragi Spa ( both good value for $ ) we probably will be coming back again for another month in 2018. Peace...
After reading reviews I was looking forward to a great facial, hand and foot massage but unfortunately this wasn't the case
The facial was performed in the lounge area with public view from anyone sitting in there and through traffic for masseuse to get water etc. This meant it wasn't quiet and I felt a little "silly" with a gentleman relaxing in the next bed! To say the facial was rough was an understatement and to be honest couldn't wait for it to end. I have given two stars because the foot and hand massage were a little better but I had also been to Bela Isa Spa earlier in the week and now I know you can't beat it!
Had a excellent time very enjoyable facial and body massage with Rose ,for sure I'll be back and do it again and share the experience with my sisters.
As a hotel guest of Surf side, I paid 500peso for a 1 hour massage. I have to book ahead because of their tight schedule due to good performance. It is a pity the sauna/pool is closed.
I tried other massage on the beach street for 350peso. But nothing compares to them.
