Choose the floating restaurants in front of the church instead of this tourist trap. Their river route won’t take you to the waterfalls plus it has an artificial indigenous village as a stopover.

The buffet doesn’t serve drinks so be prepared to shell out extra for water. They also have roving “photographers” who force you to stand and charge P150 per horrible photograph.

Its was my first time in Bohol and this place was one of our itinerary for the day. I don't know where the place is but I know the river is called Loboc river and it has its clean and greenish hue to it.

Note to future visitors, have a reservation because the place is crowded specially during lunchtime. We came in around 11am, lots of cars (vans for tourist) outside but we didn't have a problem with the parking. Most of the guest are foreigners (I guest its a famous tourist spot). The place was crowded or rather the lobby when we arrived, and there are 16 in our group and luckily didn't have a problem getting a slot.

After waiting for 1 hour, we got on this huge boat and got seated. People came and asked if we wanted juice, water or sodas to drink (soda and juice have additional cost). The food was place in the middle and a guy started playing in front and a minutes later the boat started moving. The tour lasted around 1 - 2 hours, so you have enough time to eat your guts out and have a rest. The choice of food was just average and the taste not too shabby. There is also a part where you will dock and be able to go to this tribesmen and have your photos for free (you can give donations). That is all to it

Pros:
1. Great view
2. Courteous staff (Bohol people are great BTW)
3. Not that expensive (P550 for each guest, and senior citizens gets discount)

Cons:
1. The food (They could definitely improve the menu and how they cook it)

All in all a nice experience, maybe come back to tour friend who hasn't been to Bohol

Place was fun. Great scenery and ambiance. Good value for just 500 pesos. Only thing is that the buffet food runs out lolol.

This only costs 500P per person so is great value for the all-you-can-eat food alone, which was so-so apart from the delicious pork skewers and fried chicken. Once you set off, the singer kept up banging out Beatles and river-themed songs, resulting in a good atmosphere and the riverside scenery is impressive. The ultra-cheesy ‘tribal village’ at the cruise’s turning point took away from it all a bit but otherwise good fun.

Not a star-class affair but a very nice cruise down the Loboc river with a pretty good buffet and an even better singer accompanying you. Seating is limited so if you are either travelling alone or as a couple, you will most likely have to share a table with others. A stop is made along the way to visit the Ati tribe (I think). Some information about the river and/or history of the area would have been a good addition.
