Location is great. Close to MTR station exit B2 Mongkok. Walking distance to A21 bus stop. Walking distance to Ladies Market and Langham Plaza.
The room amenities are goods. They provide towel, toothbrush, sleepers.
Room size is just enough, it is small but just enough. You are in Hong Kong so this is acceptable. Considering this is Hong Kong and above condition I guess the price is acceptable.

Of the three hotels I have tried in the Kowloon-Mongkok area, this is the best. Space is a real issue in HK, but A Hotel had a very good layout. You don't feel squished or claustrophobic. The location is really good in terms of nearness to the night market, MRT station, and the bus stop for the city flyer. A lot of food choices within the vicinity of the hotel. A minor setback is that it seems they have bedbugs. I hope they can deal with it.

The A Hotel is a lovely little gem right in the middle of Kowloon. It was convenient to the MTR via Mong Kok station. The room was a bit cramped for three adults, but doable. It was very clean and quiet. Our room was high enough that the street noise was minimal, even though it was a holiday weekend. Staff was helpful in suggesting places to eat, taxi stand, etc. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our luggage as we explored. Wifi was fast and included.

Stayed for 1 night in April 2016. Chose the hotel because of its location and proximity to the shopping areas in Mong Kok. The design room is ok although very small in size. I also did not expect high quality from a Hong-Kong hotel at about $100 per night. However I was still disappointed from the fact the room was not cleaned to a good level (sticky shelf, dirt in the corners, a few pieces of hair on the bed, etc). Also the toilet sprays water all over when you flush. However the location was indeed very central and convenient for Ladies' market and shops in the area so if you are willing to compromise quality for location it's a good choice.

The PROs of this hotel:
-Good location in Mongkok, just a 3-minute walk from the Mongkok MTR and plenty of food and shops around the hotel
-Free and stable WiFi in the rooms
-Not too expensive for a decent hotel
-Rooms look good visually and are modern looking

The CONs of this hotel:
The teething toilet issues we experienced. We had booked a Superior King Room and was given 1405. When we first went in, the room looked great and the design of the toilet and the room was something different. However, after taking a shower, water from the shower leaked all over the room, even underneath the bed and almost out the room door. This was because the design of the shower is such that the shower floor is elevated above the rest of the room floor. As such, water easily leaks out into the room, and given the small size of the room, the room easily floods.

After pointing this out to the front desk, we were moved to another similar room type which did not have the same leaking problems. Be wary of this issue in other rooms in the rest of the hotel as well.

Note that there will be a need for a HKD500 deposit you have to put down when you check in, this will be refundable in 14 days if you use credit card, or immediately when you check out if you use cash.

Room Tip: Higher floors have good views as the hotel has full length windows
