Owner description: Located at the iconic Central Harbourfront, the Hong Kong Observation Wheel offers spectacular day and night views of Hong Kong’s famous skyline and much more. Our ferris wheel rides are priced at just HK$20; as we want to make the experience affordable for all to enjoy. Online reservation is also available to ensure a smoother experience. With just a quick stroll from the Central/Hong Kong MTR Station and Central Ferry Piers, you will not only be greeted by our Ferris wheel, but also an open lawn, yummy snacks and free healthy initiatives at our wellness-themed park: AIA Vitality Park. The AIA Vitality Park hosts a variety of classes and events including fitness classes, yoga, kickboxing, swing dancing and even Capoeira. We will continue to introduce new elements to this iconic landmark including a Classic Carousel and Super Giant Slide which are now open to public.

It is not so high compared to the surrounding buildings but it is a nice way to see the Hong Kong skyline. My family enjoyed our ride, good bonding time with my folks.

This is a new attraction since I was last in HK in 2014, so was interested to check it out. When my wife and I went there was absolutely no one else there, apart from one other couple already on the wheel. We found this a little strange for a new attraction, and probably should have heeded this to be a good enough reason to stay away.
Anyway, as we were already here we decided to have a go and purchased our tickets. The staff are all very young, happy and friendly which makes for a good introduction.
The views of Central and Victoria Harbour across to Tsim Sha Tsui are ok, however the wheel is currently in the middle of a massive construction sight which does detract from the whole experience. The wheel certainly doesn’t reach the heights of London or the Singapore Flyer, and on the whole is not that special. At HKD100 it is a little on the pricey side for what it is, and to be totally honest you can get much better views of HK from so many other vantage points around the city for free.
Overall very disappointing, and save your money.

The Hongkong Observation Wheel provides you with 360 degrees view of Hongkong. The fusion of sights is a feast with various tall buildings in one side and the harbor at the other side. Kowloon side can also be seen. The staff are nice. Better to go there early to avoid the queue. You won't feel that you are on top so you won't feel dizzy.

We went there although its raining. When you first ride at gondola it will swing and you know that when someone moves it going to shake. We were lucky we shared it with a Dad and a 2 year old kid. The kid was not scared. The view is nice.

I just hope there would be shorter walk from MTR to the wheel. So if you are going here either ride a ferry our a bus. Nice and Helpful staff.

Great views of the waterfront during the "ride"

. Good rate for seniors too and no long queues when we visited mid-morning. It would also appeal to all age ranges.
