The xiaolongbao were the second best i have ever had, spring rolls 8 out of 10, custard buns delicious. service was very quick and once the staff found out i used chopstix and spoke a little Cantonese they brightened up. Good value easy ordering and clean, well recommended.

Having tried the brand in several locations around the world, we have decided to check this one out.

We have ordered:
- Pork wrapped in sheets of beancurd soup: not the best dish that we had previously and it was very plain taste not too much going on
- Spicy dumpling: very tasty with great sauce to infuse the dumpling (we ended up using the sauce to dip most of our food in)
- Shau Long Bo: it was very tasty with juice and the ginger vinegar sauce
- Hot and sour soup: we have ordered too much soup as it was about two bowls each, but we love this very much as the ingredients were fresh and it was very nicely seasoned
- Three types of beef internal organs: this was very tasty and nicely seasoned too
- Prawn dim sum: didn't like this as much as the skin was a bit too thick and some part wasn't cooked properly

Generally the size of the soup is on the bigger side for the two of us but it was tasty (apart from the pork with beancurd). Ambience is good and the view wasn't too bad.

Angus beef $188 was ordered, the texture of the beef is not satisfactory to the Angus beef eating at home, the
worst I have ever eaten. It is just not
what you would expect if selling at$188 hk dollars a dish and the portion is small . It is nearly feel like half of an ordinary dish amount.
The famous bun meat does not taste good and I think most tourist would order.
The vegetable very expensive on weight with the quality and portion and the way it was cooked and presented.

I wondered why it has a star with such
mundane quality of food. And you see
Many old customers wrote in the reviews that the quality was not the same as before. And the potion is very
small ,adding up very expensive .

The number of staff cannot cater the whole venue, most looked only at the table near them and
there were so many tables, you have to wait for service.

I spent $750 hk dollars here for two persons equal to about 10,000 yen . If
you go to Japan, one can enjoy a very
decent meal. Most small shops ask for 1200 yen and 2400 yen with service charge can give you quality and service much better than ting tai fung.

I would recommend people can try eating outlets in Jordan area instead of tst if they have a burget.

There are stared dim sum shops at very
reasonable price.

Not to recommend.

I have heard good reviews about the US and Taiwan branches and decided to try the one in HK thinking it would be more convenient with the parking (BTW, there's no complementary free car parking). First they wouldn't take reservation, which is fair in many popular HK tea houses, then they limited a maximum 1.5 hours consumption for lunch despite it was not busy. Food was reasonably priced considering the location, but the portions were unbelievably small. Quite few dishes were under-seasoned. The famous xiao long bao dumplings were moist but with no broth within. The drunken chicken probably had never seen a drop of alcohol.
The place never got busy but they still rushed us to finish up. If you're in the area, I would recommend going to the 5th floor for Tsui Hung Village. Much better food and service. Plus they have their own bathrooms inside the restaurant.

I had a very good beef noodle soup, awesome deep fried chicken chili and 3 amazing pork steam buns. Definitely a great meal for a great price.
