With the price point of the hotel, originally my friends and I didn't have much expectation (as we can say we are sophisticated travellers and have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world).
However, The Fleming has completely twisted our expectation from our arrival! No, should be from pre-arrival. Their team texted me before my arrival to make sure everything would be arranged so we would have a smooth arrival. When I arrived at the hotel entrance, the Guest Experience Manager Vicky (she is just perfectly matched with her title) welcomed me while i was stilling checking if I was going to the right place.
The check-in experience was super efficient and seamless, easy. Within 5 minutes, Vicky and I were already in my lovely room. Yes, she escorted me all the way up to the room, introducing the hotel history, concepts, designer, features, etc. She is just so passionate on what she is doing. I am sure she has been doing it for so many times everyday but I could feel that she enjoys so much, still. Impressive!
The detail of The Fleming is amazing, from the special DND sign, branded stationary, The Fleming Luxe Guide, special Birthday welcome card, birthday amenities, bathroom amenities, oh gosh, to this price points and as a four stars hotel (?), it has run better than those so-called five-star hotels, much better. You can feel they put their utmost effort just to make sure you have a wonderful stay.
The housekeeping and the room service team are very efficient. Everytime when we called for different services, their team would be there in 3 minutes. How can they do it? Again, another area which is better than those so-called five-star hotels.
Every staff is just so friendly, and the most impressive is their recognition. Amazing, everytime i went in and out the hotel, even until we checked out, they recognised me and addressed me with my last time. Yes, they are a small boutique hotel, but if they didn't pay the effort and care, we won't have such amazing experience. Thank you so much Vicky and her team. Trust me, they won't disappoint you at all.
This is my birthday celebration, and they went extra to arrange a simple decoration and birthday amenities, and a hand-written card for me. Thank you!! See, they really care. It's really all about service. Software is always something you would remember and it is hard to copy, no matter how good your hardware is.
