Amazing nostalgic-nautical boutique hotel in the heart of HK

What a gem in the middle of Hong Kong! I booked a staycation and was surprised by the quality of The Fleming in the heart of Wan Chai.

The Fleming has an upscale nautical theme reminiscent of the old Star Ferry of HK. A must for transport/seafaring/Av geeks and those who love quality nostalgic ambience. I want all the furniture and stationery! The thoughtful design shows in every aspect of the room including the do not disturb signs akin to a ship and the slippers. AppleTV and Netflix is a nice touch, something most big brands don’t have or blocked in their TVs. Photos are of their Large Room.

The reception is breathtaking and the staff are excellent. Courteous and friendly service, thoughtful and accommodating where they can. Thumbs up for the personalized attention, I feel like I’m home aboard a ship!

Sadly the restaurant is not opened during my stay because of COVID but I certainly will be back one day for their cocktails.

Will definitely be back!

Oh, the attention to detail!

This beautifully designed hotel is absolutely wonderful. We had a one-night staycation and stayed in room 802. Our room was huge, with all the amenities you'd expect and more. It doesn't matter where your eye falls in the room, design details have been carefully considered and are visible throughout. We'd happily stay again, and I'll recommend to hotel to anyone and everyone. We had a delicious dinner in Osteria Marzia, a Black Sheep restaurant located separately on the ground floor - but with internal access from the hotel.

Great stay! Good service, good food and beautiful interior.

I spent one night at The Fleming for a staycation. The check-in process was very smooth. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and very photogenic. The area is very convenient (close to mtr) and it’s tucked away in a small street so it doesn’t get noisy at all.

The staff also sent me a welcome cake which was very nice. I also had the chance to try their restaurant Osteria Marzia for dinner. They do very good quality seafood! Definitely worth checking it out.

Overall a very memorable stay.

Lovely staycation

Had an amazing time at The Fleming for a staycation. Love the interior design and every little detail at the hotel, perfect for photography lover. Staffs were super helpful too with check in and assisting the minor requests I had during my stay.
Fab experience overall.

Beautiful Hotel, amazing staff.

We finished a tour of South East Asia with 4 nights in Hong Kong. This hotel was incredible, we turned up very late after a delayed flight and they helped us get some late night food takeaway. Our first room unfortunately had a small leak from the aircon but they swiftly moved us to a upgraded room. They also left us a bottle of wine, such a treat! The hotel is beautiful, luxurious and has some amazing unique details in the room. We loved our stay, and if we’re in Hong Kong again we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect Service and lovely location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel . The staff always greeted us with a smile . So many options for the welcome drink at the bar , like coffee , wine , cocktails, soft drink ...

The location is perfect to use as a base , for shopping or walking & exploring what Hong Kong Island has to offer.
