This hostel is VERY PERFECT for budget traveler like my family. The location is very nice because it is near MTR, Bus station, places to eat (Mc Donalds is very near), places to shop (ladies market is just like 20 steps away). The room, albeit small, is very clean and the towels are changed everyday. I JUST LOVE THIS HOSTEL. The staff are lovely . Although they speak little to no English, but the translator will do the trick. I would surely stay again... highly recommended.

I saw almost all the reviews in the internet before booking and arriving in this hostel. So I am not expecting it to be very comfy and beautiful like the usual. BUT, it turned out its really nice and we get more than what we paid for!
Pros:
-Could check-in at 12noon.
- We booked for a quad-sharing room, but was upgraded to a family room
-Family room is really big, with its own kitchen and small garden 😍
-Clean room, free towels and toiletries
-Ms.Cheuk is really nice though she cannot speak English. But the guy who was also in the front desk could speak english better. Both of them are nice and accommodating.
-Location of the hostel is close to everything you need like mtr station, bus stop, night market is just outside the bldg, street foods are everywhere!
Will definitely be back here 😊
The only good thing about this hostel is the location (by walking distance)
1. 200 meters to Mongkok MRT Station
2. 200 meters to Bus Stop
3. 1KM to Mongkok East Station (You can take the train Shengzhen, China
4. 50 meters to Ladies Market and nearby shopping centers.
Rooms are small, front desk assistants are poor.
I booked a room with two double beds with Sing Yuet Hostel but upon checking in, the room is not available. The staff gave us a room with a double bed and one single bed. I was disappointed since that is not what I paid for. But the room was good enough. We were transferred to the right room the following day which was better. The room is small, the toilet is really small but works well for Asians. It is comfortable enough for two. The room and toilet are very clean. Good wi-fi connection, comfortable bed. There's also water dispenser at the hallway.
You will go through a tiny hallway to go to the two very small elevators (2-3 persons only with luggage) of the building. This is an old building but if you need a hotel that is right in the heart of everything, this is a very good choice. The 8F rooms look new, so better to stay there. This hostel is located in the shopping area, very near the night market, money changers, just a few meters to the MTR, a few blocks to the mall, Langham Place and to the bus station going to the airport. Very convenient! I would recommend this hostel if you just stay for a few nights and would not mind the small space.
Stayed with my 3 year old son. Sing Yuet is a very good choice while in HK
Pros:
• Excellent location, in the middle of shopping district
• 2 minutes aways from MTR (Mongkok E2 exit)
• Beside Ladies market
• In front of Mongkok street food, near Mcdonald's, Cafe de coral, Wellcome supermarket and a lot more
• For Pinoys, Jollibee is just 4-5 minutes away
• Rooms are Small but cute and manageable, single room has pull-up bed that you can use
• private toilet
• Quiet since located at the 10th floor
• Accomodating receptionist (nights shift)
• Sahmpoo, soap, toothbrush, and new towels are provided everyday
Cons:
A little disappointing with the cleanliness when we checked-in because there's a used tissue paper floating in the toilet, It feels like the the room was never cleaned after the previous guest, even the smell of linens aren't that fresh.
