You probably would be able to find quite a lot of traditional dishes that are no longer available in most restaurants. The food tastes good especially barbecue stuff. You better pre-order as they are easily sold out especially during lunch hour on weekdays.

5 of us from Singapore met for dinner on 29 Jan 2019 and one of our friend's chose this place as it was one of his favorite places when he was working in HK some years back. We had soup, fried rice, vegetable, a grilled fish that was done like char-siew (or ala tandoori style) which was reddish. It was then de-boned and served. We had roast chicken and finally egg white with shredded crab meat (which was really good). The most interesting dishes were the grilled fish and egg white with crab meat. It was a week night and the restaurant was quite crowded and the service staff helped us get a table which is right inside at the corner which is quieter and more conducive to talk. Service was friendly and attentive, the usual HK style.

Our friend shared with us that the restaurant is really a very "old established name" (with many decades of history) and there were many black and white photos framed and displayed near the wall where we sat that indicated the early days of old. Its also well known for its dim sum as well. I think I would like to come back with either my family or friends to try on my next visit to HK.

The food surpassed our expectation, stand outs were Roast Duck and BBQ Pork, portions were decent. Service was good with personality. Definitely would go back next time in HK.

I have been to Yixin a few times over the years, always delivers on quality dim sum a must have is the char siu pork and there are plenty of dishes for the more adventurous.
The restaurant is more than 60 years old but has moved around a few times during that time. Conveniently located and can reached easily by tram. a little on the expensive side but that is Hong Kong for you, grats on the Michelin star for 2018

A long history Cantonese restaurant used to be favorite by gourmets, but those days were long gone. Now food being served here is pretty average but expensive. Totally not worth the money.
