I can't give a full review because the weather was terrible it got so bad we were had to turn tail and run .. during the few hours we spent there it was an enjoyable experience , not overly busy with lots to see my favourite being the magnificent walruses .. It's not as polished as disney but offers a different experience if you've already been to walts place..

This place is HUGE! Zoo and Theme Park under one roof.

You should visit grand aquarium, panda, ride the train to another theme park, watch the dolphin show, and ride the cable car.

We dont have much time to do all since the place was huge better go in the morning to make the visit worthwhile

Bte we book through klook and got buy 1 free 1 ticket yay

We took our 3 year old son to the park on a Tuesday in June. Overall we enjoyed it, but it was not the best theme park we've been to.

Location wise it was convenient, right off subway Ocean Park stop.
On.a Tuesday, the ticket office was not super busy, so line was not that long. However, there were only 4 ticket booths open, so there was still a 10 minutes wait to get the ticket.

When we got in the park we were a little bit hungry, so we went to a food stand to get some snackes. Wow, a hot dag with some cheese on it was 78HKD, which is about USD 10, and it did not taste good. Later we got a bottle of Coke, which is 32 HKD, that's about USD 4. So the food and drinks are expensive and not good at all. We eventually found a McDonald's at the other side of the park. The price is only slightly higher than outside the park, so of course the line was long.
We visited the Aquarium first, which has long line, and mostly chinese tourists. Inside was nice, the staffs only allowed certain amount of people in it at a time, so we could see the fish tanks without being pushed around. We then visited a children's park, Wicker Park I think. It was OK, there were several baby rides my son can take and no lines.
Afterwards, we took the cable car to the other side of the park. The ride on cable car was really worthy. The view was great. We could see the ocean and islands around it. You should not miss it.
The other side of the park was very hilly, a lot of up and downs. We saw some more aquariums. There were also a lot of rides for adults which we didn't take.
The show at Ocean Theatre was disappointing. It was very short, 20 minute also, and only 2 seals and 3 dolphins.
On our way back we took the Ocean Express train to get back to the main gate since the cable car has 40 minutes wait. There was nothing to see in it.
So, overall it was not a bad park, but nothing to wow about except the cable cart ride. More than half of the guests are chinese tourists group, which can be unruly sometimes. I don't think it's worthy to take a toddler there, but for adults it's OK. Just don't go on the weekend.

Very enjoyable day, lots to do and see, reccomemd arriving at opening and leaving and closing. Food and drink very expensive £3.20 for a small water shocking, use the water fountains . Mcdonalds the only cheapish food place to eat if you are willing to queue. Get ypur tickets online alot cheaper.

We visited with our kids on a thunderstorm warning day so most rides were shut. Better to check weather conditions before you arrive here n carry raincoats or umbrella. We had to buy rain protective polycovers for protection.
A cable car ride is a must that takes you to a hill top with more rides n games. There were long queues everywhere so it takes time n patience. Food wasn't widely available.Connected by bus stand & metro.
