Skip the Peak Tram and take a local bus or, better yet, hike to the top and bus back. Many trails. Don't skip the walk and views from Lugard Road. While looking down to the harbor, turn around and see some of the houses there.

Good view at night.
Chocolate museum : Need to pay for chocolate class for children. Wasting money for visiting the museum.
All eateries close at 10pm.

Early Christmas Day. The Peak was quiet and lovely. Apart from a straggling of locals who
came to enjoy their morning walk rain or shine and curious visitors with their guide book, the Peak was quiet. As always the panoramic view of Hong Kong harbour and the south side of the island was as enchanting as ever. The air was refreshing. The vegetation was lush. The place had the sort of calm that one would not associate with the hustle bustle of Hong Kong. One tip for tourists- it is always wise to take a taxi here than wait in line for the Peak Tram. A taxi costs about HK$70 per ride from Admiralty (depending on uphill traffic); the other $90 return. You could get there sooner to enjoy the greenery and spare yourself one to two hours waiting under the hot sun. The return can be by bus or minibus, which can take you to Central via Wanchai or Causeway Bay.

Panoramic kind of view. Went during winter as such there was strong winds and it was very cold about 9 degrees. The best way to view Hong Kong.

Take the tram from the red line station admiralty. Do not try to catch the tram from intermediate stations, the tram is usually full and will not stop.
The queue for the tram gets pretty long.... Recommend to go there early. Your can use your octopus card on the tram.

Seniors get discount for the terrace.

After you get the tickets for the terrace, to the right of the ticket counter is an elevator of you do not want to go up the winding escalators.

The is one spot on the terrace with the view is the Hong Kong skyline. It gets extremely crowded and they have the official photographer at this spot. The view depends on the air quality and visibility. Check before you go.

This is extremely commercial and full of tourists.

The is a galleria next to it with more shops and a free observation deck but doesn't have the view of the Hong Kong skyline.
