You really cannot go wrong with this hotel. The rooms are not luxuary but great value and have a 5 star location. When in doubt, book the ymca salisbury. Just minutes from canton road and victoria harbour. The harbour views are worth the extra cost.

I was really happy with our stay at this hotel. It is in such a good location and was excellent value for money. The bed was amazingly comfy, the sheets were soo soft ! It is slightly old fashioned but this did not detract from our stay. I would highly recommend.

The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels in the area. Very accessible to lots of places as well as the train.... loved the place that we can just walk to take ferry ride to cross...

The YMCA is the place to stay while visiting Hong Kong. It is centrally located, very close to the Harbor and right next to our favorite restaurant “Hutongs”. The team at the hotel are excellent, they treat everyone with a warm and friendly welcome. Each person is important to them, so there seems to be a lot of happy people staying here. Check in and check out is very easy and Concierge takes care of your every need. Allen in Concierge was very helpful and efficient in booking reservations for us. Housekeeping team, Wanda, Shang and team did a great job daily at taking care of us. With their construction going on, they were able to set up the same top quality for their beautiful breakfast bar as they had on the 4th floor downstairs during remodel.
With the protesters still active during our stay the hotel staff have been able to keep us informed on our safety to steer clear of them.
Overall we had a great stay in Hong Kong, with the help of the YMCA.

This Hotel was great value for where it is located and views we had from our room. The hotel had just opened up again 2 weeks before we stayed there 4 nights last April. It was going through a major remodel and was very nice. Don't let the 'YMCA' in the name hold you back from staying at this hotel. Look at it's photos. It's right next to The Peninsula Hong Kong hotel. From our room window we could watch the nightly light show that was taking place across the waterway. We were VERY pleased with this hotel.
