Booked a club full view harbour room and got upgraded to junior suite with harbour view. The suite has been renovated recently and it is still quite fresh. Used the gym which is quite nice. Club lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea and evening happy hour. The variety of breakfast spread is okay. Chinese options are only available as make-to-order. Nice omelette! Afternoon tea is relatively less impressive. Evening happy hour can probably serve as a light dinner with champagne. I have dinner appointment and can't enjoy happy hour fully. Lobby lounge is a bit overcrowded. The handy phone was not working during my stay but it didn't cause too much trouble to me.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and the upgrade arrangement which allowed you to stay at our Junior Harbour View Suite. We are also glad to know that you found the newly-renovated suite to be fresh in appearance.

It is also very rewarding to know that you had an enjoyable time at our Club InterContinental Lounge at breakfast and cocktail hour. We have taken note of your comments regarding the afternoon tea however and will look into it with our culinary team to see where it can possibly be enhanced.

We are sorry that our Lobby Lounge was a bit overcrowded. This was due to high occupancy levels during the period of your stay. We do hope it didn't detract too much from your overall stay experience however.

We do apologise that the Handy phone in your room was not working and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental Grand Stanford during our babymoon in Hong Kong and really enjoyed our one-week stay.

Pros
- Beautiful rooftop pool
- Excellent service with welcoming staff
- Great views of Victoria Harbour
- Complimentary shuttle

Cons
- 10 minute walk to the East Tsim Sa Tsui MTR station, but it takes atleast another 10 minutes to reach the Tsim Sa Tsui station once you're underground

Recently stayed at the Grand Stanford in Hong Kong during a business trip. Although I've been to Hong Kong many times it was my first stay at the hotel, but surely not my last. I've found it to be well located and its staff to be courteous and always ready to help. The room was a good size and impeccable for a Hong Kong hotel. (I was on the Executive floor though, maybe different for regular rooms...) The hotel has two good restaurants as well as a nice bar. It is on the airport express shuttle route (Kowloon Station) which is practical. I find it is a good value for the money and highly recommend it.

This is still a lovely hotel after our third visit! Rooms are still in good condition, spacious and clean. The bar is wonderful especially on a cold winter evening to have some drinks and smoke a stogie! A little bit away from Nathan road but still a decent area to stay with a nice tim sum cafe just across the road. Many other shops arounds as well! Will be back again this year!

Thank you also for your comments regarding our location. As you have experienced we do have garden plazas adjacent to the hotel which contain many shops and restaurants. The hotel is accessible to the subway and it only takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to walk from our hotel to the Hung Hom or Tsimshatsui MTR metro stations for easy access to Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. We do also provide a complimentary shuttle bus service to the main shopping malls in Tsimshatsui. Please don't hesitate to contact our Concierge during any future visit's as they will be delighted to assist you.

This hotel is centrally located to major shopping and eateries. Make sure you book a room with a view of Hong Kong harbour. Staff are attentive and friendly. Great buffet selection both breakfast and dinner
