I pick this hotel because of their convenient location. I can go to places from there easily. The hotel room is spacious and very clean. All the staffs, from front desk and concierge to house-keeping and restaurants, are very friendly and attentive. They always try their best to accommodate my needs and give me all the tips on getting around the city. I really appreciate the excellent service they provided and it's definitely worth more than I pay for.

I thought this was a pretty serious hotel in a good location (love Prince Edward), and maybe it's because of the Covid times, but it's been really quite bad. Facilities like the gym and cafe are closed, I can understand that. The 2 Mbps wifi? I get better speeds at the free Pizza Hut wifi. They clean the rooms every 5 days, and there's just generally no service. The TV doesn't even have a channel that shows the world cup, which I didn't think was possible.

Metropark Hotel Mongkok, which provide smooth services, is a superb staycation hotel during covid19. Room is very clean and tidy.
Especially, the front desk staffs in hotel are willing to coordinate with guests flexibly since I have had a special request that have mentioned when I made the booking, and the staff have fulfilled my request perfectly and considerably upon check-in. I’d like to give a special shout out to Thomas Chan at the front desk, very attentive and courteous. The only drawback is the hotel decorations seems obsoleted as compared to other hotels.
Overall, quite good. I'm sure many people love this hotel for the convenience. I thoroughly enjoyed two nights of bliss, would be happy to return any time.

Pro:
location; nice and helpful staff; restaurant on the first floor offers authentic dim sum.
Con:
They gave me a room on the 4th floor first, the whole floor including the room filled with extremely strong smell of cigarette even though I requested a non smoking room. Then they moved me to the 11th floor, it did smell better with quite a few air purifiers working constantly. Still you can smell it. If this bothers you, don’t come.

The whole place is dated with stained carpet.

A surprise came to me at check out is a 20HKD bill for 4 local phone calls I made to agencies related to Covid procedures. I didn’t see anywhere posted in the room. They told me it’s one of those fine prints when I agreed to use the WIFi. OK, I guess that’s my fault..

Room tip: Bus A21 from airport stops right at the hotel.

Got woken up at 7 in the morning multiple times by housekeeping people. Housekeeping people start working really early and end really late at night. I was trying to fight jet lag, so my sleep schedule was a bit out of the ordinary, and boy I could hear all kinds of noise when I was sleeping. Almost feels like there’s no walls. I’m a light sleeper so this really kills me. Avoid this if you want a good night of sleep especially during your 0+3 medical surveillance.

It also felt dusty and moldy and like no one actually cleaned this place as I could see the water stains even a freaking booger on the counter of the bathroom sink. I have hives so if a place is dusty, my skin gets really itchy.

The nice things I can say about this place is the doorman and the people who work for room service are all really polite and attentive. I would come back though if this place would have been cleaner and more quiet.

这边的隔音是非常差的,走廊一有声音房间里面听的一清二楚。清洁人员从大早上开始工作到很晚才结束。所以经常能在房间听到他们的动静。所以睡眠浅的人别住这!别住这!别住这!0+3最需要有充足的睡眠。

另外感觉这房间没有仔细打扫过就给下个人用。貌似只有床上用品、杯子是清理过的,连水壶里面都有污渍。浴室水池台上我看见有类似鼻屎一样的东西,着实把我恶心到。而且房间感觉尘很大。我有寻麻疹所以我对尘螨过敏,一个地方如果尘大,我皮肤马上就有反应。

除了这两点,我是没什么挑剔的,毕竟这地理位置和这价钱也挺便宜的。而且开门和房间服务的工作人员非常礼貌,总是微笑着。如果不是噪音和不干净我肯定会再光顾

3 years passed, the pandemic situation in HK still unstable which the travel still locked down. What we could only choose to stay in local hotel.
This time I stayed in Metropark MK for a short break with a competitive price in the crowd downtown. We normally say you get what you pay for, but I could like to say, you get more than what you pay in this hotel, especially the service provided by the Manager - Thomas who showing his utmost professional and caring service during my stay. Moreover, the room was renovated with specious space.

The price is worth to stay in this hotel and I would definitely return back.
