Spent a weekend here for a break. Started with some disappointment, as the check-in counter was not well organised and staff were not attentive. I stood in front of the counter and holding my identification documents for more than 10 mins without anyone taking care me, no formal queue, and no one greeted me at all (i refer to a general one). Being an IHG ambassador, there was a separate area to check in but not clearly indicated, so that after around 10-15mins wait, finally there was someone showing me this area and got checked in nicely. The staff was so friendly, although she was new and a bit nervous, quite impressive performance.

The room is okay without surprise, carpet cleanliness is questionable but still okay.

Spent 10 mins at poolside with a terrible experience. Tons of mosquitoes at the poolside, and i got more than 10 bites within few minutes. Very disappointed at this.

Upgraded to a junior suite which was absolutely stunning and furnished to the highest standard. Our room was cleaned twice a day in a meticulous and detailed fashion, and we really appreciated the good location which was near the TST MTR. The afternoon tea is very good value for what you get and was very enjoyable, although we found the scones and patisseries a bit too sweet verging on sickly. Yan Toh Heen is a beautiful restaurant with a great harbour view - a great place to treat yourself to gourmet, upscaled Chinese cuisine. We loved our stay and felt very comfortable there - will return.

The hotel was very nice, the downside was we didn't have a room with a view on the water...instead we overlooked the pool and construction next door. The food was top quality. The bed was poor to sleep on, not comfortable.

i've stayed here with my husband for 4 nights so far, and white marble tiles interior was so stylish even though the main room itself is quite old style. if you love relaxing in tub, this would be your choice.

Excellent hotel location, nice furnishings, friendly staff. In retrospect I would opt for the nearby Sheraton upon return. Sheraton was much more customer prioritized than this IHG.

I loved the harbor view, hated the breakfast price, liked the room accompaniment by the front desk agent.

This is a great hotel for businesspeople who seek quiet solace. In conversation of IHG status upgrades I discovered a highly monetized stinginess not experienced at other Intercontinental hotels.

I will definitely pass on this hotel in the future opting for the nearby Sheraton or the across bay Renaissance. Renaissance demonstrates red carpets loyalty and delivers red carpet service.
