Good hotel for a night of stay, but that is it!

The hotel is way past its time of glory. It was a 5 star hotel may be two decades ago. The rooms are huge, much much bigger than the average hotel room in the ciry. But, the whole place is showing its age. Stains on the carper, in the sofa ... And, when was your last time staying in a hotel without a USB charging port? There are air purifiier everywhere in the coridors on each floors. While the price is very cheap for a 5-star hotel, its service level has been slipping as well. This is the only hotel I ever encountered a refusal when requested the help to hail a taxi on the day leaving. They asked me to get it somewhere outside. Normally, taxis do not go into the alley the hotel entrance locates as it does not facing any main streets. I ended hauling my suitcases for a 10 minutes to get a taxi on the closest main street. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is it. But do not expect it to look like a 5 star hotel.

Room tip: Get a room in the higher floor.

Best hotel stay ever!

Best hotel experience ever! We stayed in the hotel for 4 days 3 nights and we we're
so glad that we booked this hotel. We
we're group of 4 including an infant. The staffs are so accomodating most especially King Wu. He allowed us to check out late coz our flight is at 6pm, the hotel even have a shuttle bus going to the airport. He assisted us from day1 until our last day. We were able to enjoy our HK trip even if there was a typhoon(we were not able to go out). But it's still nice to stay at the hotel. My kid enjoyed the view from our room.

A once nice hotel... Not so nice anymore

I've stayed at this hotel off and on for the past 8 years. The employees are definitely unhappy and it reflects in their poor service and often rude manners. We had 3 rooms for almost a week this trip, will never stay here again. Too many negatives

A truly unforgettable trip…

We recently stayed at the Regal Kowloon Hotel during our very first international trip to Hong Kong, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Accommodation is such an important part of any vacation, and we were incredibly lucky to have found this gem of a hotel.

From the moment we arrived early in the morning, we were greeted with exceptional service. We were fortunate enough to be assisted by a fellow Filipino, Mr. Dennis Dulay, at the check-in counter, who kindly checked us in early even though the usual check-in time was 3 PM. Mr. Dennis made sure that he would make this special moment in our lives truly unforgettable — it was my birthday, after all!

After a tiring day exploring Disneyland, we returned to the hotel, and I was personally given a birthday cake by Dennis in our room, which was just a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The room itself was fantastic — spacious, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was truly top-notch with a wide variety of options to start our day off right.

Our stay at Regal Kowloon had the perfect balance of luxury and affordability, making it the ideal choice for us. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Hong Kong — we might not even bother looking for another hotel because this one exceeded our expectations in every way.

A huge thank you again to Dennis for making our stay extra special, not just accommodation-wise but for our entire experience in Hong Kong. We will never forget it!
