If you like seafood, Chuen Kee is the restaurant to go to. Seafood is fresh, you can select your own seafood and they will cook for you to your liking. Weekends and public holidays very busy. I don't like going there on weekends and public holidays because you won't have peace of mind eating!! Once they served your last dish, they will immediately put the bill on your table so that you can hurry up pay as the next customers is standing next to you waiting for you to go.
I like going there but I don't like to be push when am enjoying my seafood. Most people don't mind that, but for me I hate to eat and run!!!
Also if you are not locals, you will be charge you arms and legs on all the seafood. It's a tourist trap, if you are happy to pay and like the taste, so why not just enjoy it!!

This restaurant is a tourist trap. Like many of the restaurants on Sai Kung water front they show you to your table and tell you everything is market price and you need to then go outside and select you seafood which they will weigh for you and then price. This is very expensive and you'll see a couple of average sized crabs cost over 700 hkd. Wouldn't have a problem with this if the quality was good which it isn't. This restaurant really crams people in and the staff speak very little English and only seem interested in turning tables as quickly as possible. The gents room here too was a mess, overall shocking value.

I was there for the first time, could not decide what to order so chose the set menu for two persons instead. The choice was right and the portion is good (2 pcs each for one person), 4 choices of seafood and a dessert for only hkd388. It's really value for money cuz you need to pay double in HK island for this kind of seafood. It was a weekend getaway for us so it is a good environment away from the city.

Personally I think the price is reasonable. It might not the cheapest in town..but definitely worth it. After all, they are Michellin restaurant. Set menu is value for money but limited choice. Otherwise u can choose your own seafood from the tank or from the fisherman at the pier
