You take the elevator to the second floor for this popular eatery on Nathan Road. We enjoyed lunch here so much we returned for a second time during our five-day stay. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating, but most do not speak English. The dining room is large and formal, banquet-style, we saw no other Westerners. If you're as illiterate in Chinese as I am, you can ask the maitre-d for a menu with English translations and then match numbers to the photos on the menu you order from. All the varied steamed buns, dumplings and vegetables that we tried were first-rate. I had never tasted such delectable chicken feet. Best of all, the bill for a hearty lunch or dinner at Cheers won't make you choke. Prices are more than reasonable. My Canadian VISA card worked just fine.

Affordable and tasty Dim Sum, choose small plates. Prawn dumplings are a must. Rinse your dishes in green tea at the start - this is how its done.

It's not especially crowded. There are still empty tables when we came.
You need to know what you want. You look for the staff they don't come to you.
It helps that you understand the Chinese menu. There are not many pictures to see.
The food is not excellent but it's also not too bad. It's a popular place with the locals.
As a tourist you will feel lost. So some patience is needed.

Not too pleasant an experience. We approached the counter and asked if we could make a reservation for 2 hrs later. The receptionist had a long face and said no and just threw me a number. We later waited for an hour and managed to get in.
Price is reasonable but there was hardly any service.

Me and my husband really enjoyed dim sum in Cheers Restaurant. The choice is great too. Service is a tiny bit slow as there are many people. But it opens early which is very convenient for people who fly in the morning. Highly recommend!
